11:15- I REALLY thought when you pulled up that ring & chain there would be a huge gurgling & the canal would start to empty, and there would be a huge drain stopper on the end of the chain.🤣😅😂😂🤣 Seriously, more likely off a dredge. 7:46- I have one identical to that from an old blacksmiths shop. It was used to bend bar stock. Of course, it could have been an attempt to make a gate key for the lock also.. 13:54- I bet that is someone's attempt to make a lock "key". (Probably dropped theirs into the water). 22:17- "I" plates made from silicon steel from a transformer. The "E" plates are in the canal somewhere most likely. The stamping plates are a top drawer find!
I am stupefied from all the garbage that comes from those canals and rivers. Some gems are rare, but I do believe that the councils should be the ones to clean the environment.

That is the oddest chain
it was and very heavy.
The chain is a 2 leg lifting sling. Probably fell off a crane
