Sillapha Kan Tob Toh is Muay Boran’s Art of Counterattack.

An efficient counterattack is executed simultaneously or immediately after the opponent’s strike, usually exploiting a temporary gap in his defense. Counter-fighting is not a simple defensive system but an advanced method of using the opponent’s offence as a means to efficiently execute one’s own attack or series of attacks.
This video deals with the traditional strategies used to counter punches (Kon Kae Mahd).
When the opponent attacks with punches (Mai Mahd), you can defend and counter with your body weapons in one the following ways:
1.Defend and counter with punches
2.Defend and counter with kicks
3.Defend and counter with knees
4.Defend and counter with elbows
5.Defend and counter with throws
6.Defend and counter with joint locks
