Dear pastor can you make a video on this bible verse There he spoke to his disciples, saying: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father” (John 14:12).
What did Jesus mean by this? Did He mean it literally? If so why haven't we seen people doing greater works than Him?

James 2:24 “You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone” you need both faith and works.
It makes no sense to say all you have to do is believe and if you believe hard enough you will somehow end up doing good things. It makes no sense to say that all you have to do is believe but if you don’t have works from that belief you aren’t believing hard enough.

Thank you this, I’ll make sure to watch the full video. I want to do my best in this walk through life with Jesus, especially since I started so late in life. I want nothing more than to please God. It’s difficult when it seems like so many people conform to try an appeal to the world instead of speaking in a way that is pleasing to God.
From thoughts to speech and into action. How can I someone be holy when their thoughts, speech and actions are out of alignment with God’s will? One thing I fear is being told ‘I knew you not, depart from me.’
The only way to live a life pleasing to God is by asking the Holy Spirit to help you live a life pleasing to God...its that's straightforward
@@davidrymes9334 I completely agree, which is why I abandoned my various addiction when I gave my life to Christ. Fill that space with the Holy Spirit and love for God. I’m doing everything I can to build a strong foundation to weather any storm thrown my way.

Glad he did this video - so many have been snared by these False Doctrines. A relationship with God is not about what is valuable on earth - it’s about what has value in heaven. “Depart from me I never knew you” - will be the last thing Jesus says to those who follow these 3 doctrines.
