Duke clearly said he picked Cash up for Defense. Cash did a great job getting boards. YPK Raye did overlook Cash a few times, but without Raye, they don't win. Cash isn't a great offensive player. But Cash was playing his part, guarding, getting boards. They didn’t have to pass Cash the ball every time he was open but at least give em a few shots. It's all true tho. It's a game with the biggest creators with nothing on the line and is genuinely just for the fun and then you have a player, who no doubt, is exceptional, but just playing for himself and not his team.
You can criticise Mark for benching players like Marcelas in 3rd quarter for so long but its not that serious, at least they got to play the bench as well and even Cordae who came for no reason and then there are players like Jason on Team Duke who barely even got any minutes on the court and players like Cash who got on the court but never got the ball.
Right Mark understood why there there for fun duke wanted to win. Marcelas could of had 30 or more but he knew it was for fun
