3% more performance, 50% more power draw. Intel returning to their roots.
😂
Gen z roots.

Intel made a winter radiator, not a cpu
Look at this guy getting top end hardware to review. Good for you my man!
Thanks! Though I can safely say entry level stuff is still more my thing for sure!
@@RandomGaminginHDyeah. Well shit man, I think we want to see the shit we can’t afford. 😂
@@RandomGaminginHDand that's why this channel rocks!
It’s intel I wouldn’t call it top end 😂
You mean repackaged tech to review 🤣🗣
Never thought I'd see the day that Intel dropped the latest i9 for Steve to review. Congrats! 🤗
Me neither 😂
Thanks Steve!
@@RandomGaminginHDwelcome to the major leagues ;-)
Well deserved! 😊👍🏻
They're that desperate xD
Right before winter , you've got a house heater! :D
Nice to see, that you get this higher end componants for testing.
Haha I’ll try it with a celeron stock cooler for the ultimate warmth!
@@RandomGaminginHD Keep your fire extinguisher ready! Only to be sure :D
@@RandomGaminginHD Passive heatsink with a desk fan pointed towards it.
Pair of GTX 480's on SLI will warm up any house hold
A better cooler would heat up the place better, or it'll thermal throttle and stop generating heat.
Thank you for actually doing something interesting with the CPU brother. Appreciate that
Thanks for watching!

Would you rather see the 135th 14900k benchmark review? Or something fresh? We already know what the chip is capable of. Might as well do something unique and fun

THIS is the type content we wanted to see 😂 Good stuff my man! Greetings from USA 🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed!
You did the review quite differently! Quite refreshing. As a long time subscriber, I'm glad to see you grow, my man.
I'm so glad i subbed all those years back! Great content!!
Congrats man :) love this channel and I hope your allowed to keep it
Same 😁
My man!
I watch your videos not always necessarily because of what you're reviewing but your genuine personality!
Keep going strong!
It's awesome to see how far you've come my guy, love the channel keep it up
Forever a legendary RUclipsr. Love every video that you bring out.
Thank you for making so many good videos that i can enjoy without stressing about the results :)
This is totally opposite of CPU bottleneck ;)
😂
Been watching since late 2019, and I have to say the quality of your videos never dropped a bit.
Happy to see you're getting some love man.
congrats on getting sponsors with the big brands!
Great video as always. Set a reminder, looking forward to the 14900k budget build in 2033:)
So happy for you man!
I miss the days when a core2quad, 4gb of ram and an HD6450 were the order of the day, you've changed Steve, since you got that i9 14900K, still love your channel though Bro ;)
Haha it’s about time I revisited that setup!

Really cool to see you getting hardware day 1, Maybe test some emulation with the chip? RPCS3 comes to mind.
Love this guy, so relatable and leaves in any fuck ups rather than editing them out 😄
trust me, youd also prefer my way
Whoah
Intel seeded you a 14900k! Congrats on making it! Officially one of the big boys now!
Now this was interesting seeing such a processor, using the iGPU to run video games. I liked it a lot as most reviews on this chip, will be running it with very high end discrete graphics card.
You the only youtuber left in this low end niche, keep doing this iGPU things do not change
Cool review of the i9 13900K!
Love this video. Thanks.
Nice!
Now all we need is a video of the cheapest possible build that will net you higher framerate...
I think GBP 150 is doable.
I'm thankful they give the option for an iGPU. I bought a 13600k for my build a couple months back, and think for an extra 20 to 30 bucks having an iGPU is worth it just for troubleshooting (if your dedicated GPU is having issues), for use if you can't use your dedicated GPU (if it died or is sold for cash for an upgraded GPU), or even to use your PC without a dedicated GPU due to prices of them and waiting to save enough cash to get the one you want.
you've learned how to crouch spray! great work
Hi mate, love your videos!! ... Could you possibly review the Fusion Mini PC's gaming abilities!
Keep up the good work 😍
seeing high end hardware on this channel is surreal
I like the way you think. What a great video. Thanks.
Congrats on getting the new I9
W vid. Exactly what I was looking for
This is way better then I expected
Best and most original 14900K's review!
Love the review. No one else has covered the UHD graphics at all. All I ever see is charts with numbers talking about how it did with a 4090. Like most of us just have that card kicking around the office.🤣🤣🤣
Nice video really enjoyed it!
Thanks!
my old dog still knew few old tricks i9 7980xe still a beast, long live the king!!👑
Great video man! Could you do a video about cheap older xeons and workstations maybe? I need an upgrade from the w3680 soon and thought about trying the same i did last time, buying an old workstation with an old beast cpu, but im not sure which plattform would be suitable nowadays
I remember trying to run overwatch with a i9 9900K, using only it's UHD 630 graphics. That managed to hit an insane 15 to 25 fps at 1080p low in the training room.
bro thats good
@@sexbeast-uf2bq When compared to Radeon integrated graphics it's atrocious
@@leothehuman_9476 I played Resident Evil 4 Remake in my Ryzen 3 2200g at 720p FSR Performance and got a stable 30-40 fps while my I5 10500 can barely run it in 360p 15fps LMAO. AMD was a lifesaver during the pandemic when GPU prices skyrocketed.
@@sexbeast-uf2bq AMD's Ryzen 7 7840HS got a Radeon 780M and that is at least 20% better than GTX 1050ti. Intel probably won't be able to compete with AMD when it comes to integrated graphics.
@@blitzcrank4840I have a 680M on my laptop and it gets half the fps of my rtx 3070ti mobile which is crazy
Good to know you have an extra heater for winter.
love how you included that 666mm water cooler that is a must for 14900k hilarious.
Thank you for showing what the iGPU can do. Would be great to have some non gaming comparisons, how it does with things like TopazAI. The iGPU in a 4600G is half the performance of a GTX1060 in games, but faster in that use case for example.
10 series nvida GPUs have really bad compute performance in fp16. Like I have a Radeon 530 in my old laptop (ddr3 version) and it has better compute in fp16 than a GTX 1080. GCN/Vega has really compute. It's fixed in the 16 and 20 series.
Funny how the iGPU is more interesting for me than the heater itself.
ARC, WOW !
in the future now !
Consider a VS with a Iris pro igpu on the rarest Core i5/i7 5000 Broadwell CPU's with L4 cache for the iGPU
Agreed! If possible, this would be a fascinating video.
I feel like ARC GPUs are improving Intel drivers for gaming which means their integrated graphics are actually becoming decent as compared to before.
I'd be curious what this could do if all cores except six were disabled and the integrated GPU overclocked to insane levels
Why you should disablenthw cores, the CPU is incredible ineffizient but also has a PL4 of over 400 Watt. Nothing will Change, some FPS more depending of the overclock. But It s nothing more then the Low end 11th Gen iGPU after all.
This. Skatterbencher does this on his channel but obviously a little different in the content he focuses on (literally all on overclocking).
for stability, less core to feed you can push easily cache or igpu where possible@@jherr856
@@jherr856 I agree nobody would buy it then do that out of the box it's a waste of money, but sometimes it's nice to know what kind of perf you can get at low PL, I run my old 9900k at limited power on a noctua 65w cooler in a SFX NAS case because it was older high end parts I had hanging around and could repurpose, with the 14900k having so many cores I just think it's interesting to see just what these things can do on a very restrictive power limit, the IPC generally improves per gen and iteration, so a chip like this 3 or 4 years from now when it's half the retail costs can imo sometimes be an interesting purchase..
@@jlgroovetek will check that out thanks
There are some useful things you can do with iGPUs outside of gaming which can be worth it if you see yourself taking advantage of it, like quick sync for encoding/rendering video or decoding video (such as if your hosting a plex server to stream movies off of) and you can use it for a secondary monitor that has non gpu intensive stuff running like Discord or hardware monitoring tools or anything like that. These are only things I can think off off the top of my head so there’s probably even more
It also gives perfect refresh sync using mpc-hc if you have an htpc without using reclock or similar
very informative.
Just the video I needed to see, entry level iGpu graphics vs the very best of the best iGpu graphics
Since the winter months are coming, this CPU can also double as a space heater when the weather gets cooler!
congrats for getting new Thermonuclear Room Heater lol
probably test with the same settings at 1600x900 or 1440x810? I find those resolutions to be good middle ground and recently I used that resolution to play MW3 beta on my MX450 + 1165G7 laptop
I wanted to see a video like this but not many people really tested it
😎 Crazy playing GTA like that. Awesome
People clicking dislike on a video like this truly amaze me. Also, can you perhaps let me know what camera you are using to capture the monitor footage? Appreciate it, and keep up the awesome work!
If a video is uploaded to RUclips it’s getting disliked no matter what there’s make a wish kids meeting superhero’s getting disliked 💀
Bloody hell avi you did well here to get one
Interesting way to test cpu, maybe now try overclocking the igpu?
This gen being a gussied up 13th gen reminds me of a few years ago with the endless cavalcade of "this is basically just a gussied up Skylake."
Hey, I've noticed in CS2 performance wildly differs depending of the map. I'd say inferno and ancient are the most demanding maps while dust and mirage are the least. Something to keep in mind when you're benchmarking things.
Totally didn't expect this here XD
Congrats on the i9 :)
damn. last I saw you were about at 70k subs, reviewing budget hardware. I dont even know when that was. Good to see you grow!
The budget stuff is still my fave tho 😁
i'd love a comparison with the flagship AMD cpu too :)
Looking forward for the expensive vs cheap motherboard video
I used a threadripper 5955wx with my RTX 4090 in my workstation for renders in resolve. I switched to the 14900k and my render time cut down from 3.4 hours at the end of the day to less than 10 minutes with the Intel. It all comes down to the iGPU providing the efficient hardware encoding in h.264/265.
I laughed out loud when I saw the 14900k on your channel 😂
A great room warmer for the winter ....
Damn nice bro.
I wonder what next gen ryzen desktop APUs performance will be. I'm already amazed with their current desktop APUs.
No one else would be doing this if they got a top tier chip haha! Keep it up.
good content!!!
wonder how it compares with historical intel iGPUs
Gma 900💀💀
wow nice congrats
Well, that was some silly fun!
the 14900k is my favourite budget cpu
@0:54 that missing screw on that fan is setting my OCD mad.
gz for getting that chip to review it.
nothing specific to this CPU but rather for all iGPUs:
you could do a power draw comparisson / performance comparisson when using the iGPU and a dGPU in hybrid graphics mode. that is, connect moniors to the mainboard and set games to still use the dGPU. that way the dGPU stays fully idle doing office work. working 10h a day from home i save around 2/3 of a kilowatt each day as before my dGPU regularly was drawing 50-70 watts for displaying zoom / microsoft teams / programming IDE, browser etc... now it stays at 5 watts while working.
didnt know this was possible with desktop PCs and i bet a lot dont know about. even if electricity is not expensive where you live or you dont care about +-10$ a month. it adds up across a lot of people and theres lots of unused potential for energy saving
i woulda expected this video to come out like 10 years later mate lmao
10/10 vid
reminder set
If you have time, could you do a Emulation (Duckstation/ PCSX2/ RPCS3 etc) benchmark comparison video between this i9 14900k's iGPU, UHD 770 vs Ryzen 7 5700G's Vega 8 APU?
I'm watching this video on the same monitor that you're recording in this video and the more I think about it the more it hurts my brain
I come to this channel for the budget GPUs; I stay for silly stuff like this 😊😊
love asus for dual mount boards. I still can attach lga 1200 coolers there, like ml360 cryo
Awesome
I honestly did this exact scenario of building my pc with integrated i5 13600K graphics and finding money for a decent gpu later. It's not great, by any means, but it worked while the scalpocalypse was going on and i didn't want to sell a kidney to buy a 2070 super. It's not ideal, but its something to hold you over until better things come together.
It's a bit weird to me that all of these high-end gaming CPUs now come with integrated graphics. Especially now that AMD has RDNA 2 on all their new chips, and that they've done it so that it doesn't hamper performance at all or sacrifices anything, by putting it on the I/O die.
Maybe in future, we'll only have CPUs with iGPUs. Lovely jubbly, very handy.
bros going up in the world
its actually not that bad. Who knows, maybe by the 18th or 19th gen we can get ARC iGPUs. Imagine even anything close to a 550 or 770 as a iGPU, that'd be nuts. Outside of APUs of course, one would hope they massively outclass an Alchemist card
Yooo what,day 1 content?
Now use a stock intel cooler and heat up your whole house. Great video sir.
Hmm will the cpu get overheat tho? I mean i am pretty sure the cpu will get bottlenecked like crazy...
Funny enough, the stock cooler will actually heat up your house less because it's far less capable at dissipating heat
Remember: CPU temp ≠ heat output
@@kiro253It'll throttle & likely dump less heat into your room as a result. 😅
CPU coolers dump all the heat the CPU produces into the environment, and all the electricity it takes will turn into heat. Therefore, it's best to have the CPU run as cool as it can, because that's when it can overclock the most and bring you that sweet warmth.
i hope at least that the laptop market 14th gen or meteor lake will be at least something good or at least will go some boost in performance oh and hopefully previous laptop cpus that were high end up to this moment will finally be drop in price
You did Intel, now you should do ryzen with the vega igpu
Yeah done a few. AMD still has the upper hand with integrated graphics, but nice to see Intels iGPUs getting better
@@RandomGaminginHDhello. Could you make a review about r5 5600g? I think its one of the best selling cpu/apu of amd. Also how it holds up today too.
@@zilverman7820I have a 5600G, if you are talking on how it performs purely and solely as a CPU, it is roughly equivalent to the Ryzen 5 3600, since it has higher clockspeed but has it's cache halved to give home to the iGPU, if you wanna know about the integrated graphics, just know that they're not for gaming, it is good for general use and very, VERY light videogames (We're talking things like GTA V at 720p Low at 30-40 fps), i would not recommend it, I'm saving up to swap it for a 5700X
@@alexg9601 Well I have it too. I think its slightly better than 3600 cause in benchmark made by gamers nexus and hardware unboxed, 5600g has better performance on synthetic benchmarks and even with dgpu. But yeah its igpu is not made for newer AAA titles but can be enjoyed on some older titles. I believe you can play gta v on 1080p mixed medium to high settings at 60fps. There are a lot of benchmarks of it too.
@@N_N23296 Which vega? Ive seen iris xe benchmarks scoring higher than vega 8/7
