Maybe yoshi riding yoshi is just A way to play (as yoshi/in a yoshi custome) but have the yoshi moveset! Which means the yoshi riding yoshi is a singular entity born by the limitations of this game! (such a creative way btw i appreciate it!) Hi. I have a suggestion for Mario Multiverse. Each game style on Mario maker had their own unique mechanics and physics, and I understand the choice to enable or disable these in different styles, that makes us the possibility to create levels with the asthetic and mechanics we want without needing to sacrifice one of these… but we have a really tiny size of these mechanics that can be on or off and we have many game styles… I think you should add for example the option of “Yoshi’s Island Gameplay” that makes so the gameplay acts like yoshi’s island’s! Now the main character is always a baby and there is something that is helping him on the levels just like Yoshi does! This example can be quite tough to make and would replace power ups with those temporary shape abilities, but another one that can be good and less tough to make is the “Charge” option that makes the main character have a wario gameplay, charging trough the level and with smaller jumps and movement speed! There are so many possibilities!

Really like these videos, Mario Multiverse actually looks really fun. I never got into the later Mario games, I loved the classics better though the only one I beat by myself without help was Super Mario Bros 2.. I watched a lot of them played by my brother as I grew up... minus the later games.. mostly all on the NES and SNES

fyi Darby, the reason Captain Toad can't jump, is officially stated that he can't jump, because the bag he has on his back is so heavy, it makes it impossible for him to jump, as he's not physically strong enough to jump with that much weight in his bag holding him down
