It's great that places like this still exist. They almost feel like walking through a museum now like you're witnessing a piece of history. I miss the days when these things were all over the place.
You’re right Mike they do feel like museums, it’s like walking through pieces of art maybe that’s why we bring these 3/4 scale in our homes it’s art to us.

Another fabulous arcade . Lethal enforcers & Area 51 I remember the mid 90’s too these were everywhere. Having a pint of beer listening to oasis and blur and not paying so much attention to these after the heady heights of previous years !
It's another episode of handstamp needed!. Thanks Phil for taking me back down memory lane. I miss going to the arcade...it was such a fun time in my life.
Thanks, that was a great tour! I was fascinated to see how many of the original cabinets had upright screens like the older A1ups. Not that many are deeply recessed and angled like the latest models.
You’re absolutely right most of them have the upright and I prefer that style very comfortable. My kind of arcade the games were some of the best:) Thanks for watching 👊
"These places are special"- perfectly said. That place is a labor of love by someone who won't sell out. Since he works on them himself, they're like his children. Unless I missed it, I bet he eventually gets a Carnevil too. This video makes me not want to work today lol, and I could totally see you owning a place like this one day. You can call it arcades anonymous🙂
What a great place ! I already googelt 'The 6 Best Arcades in Wisconsin' . Seems I have to go on vacation there someday. Lake Michigan, breweries, arcade halls ... sounds almost unreal 🙂👍
This place is amazing. 1. I have never beat Area 51.. The space ship always gets away. 2. I agree the 3 player deck for certain games is a untapped potential for A1up. Have a blessed day Phil.
Awesome tour, man! I've been loving the arcades I've visited recently, and we have a new one opening this month in town that'll be really close to me. I can't wait to check them out when they open and see what cabs they have.
I’ve really enjoyed watching your arcade videos :) I thought of yours when I chose the thumbnail guessing what Hungry Wolf Garou would go with! I always ask Kellie to pick between two pics :) can’t wait to see your next tour 👊
I saw games in there that would be great to have. As much as I want my own arcade/pinball collection, right now I don't have the room in my studio coach house. But my best friend and I are saving up for a bigger house to share and THEN we'll load it up with an arcade/pinball collection, neon signs, tabletop games and a snack bar. It's a dream we're willing to make reality.
@@PDX7 Yes it will be. I don't mean to bring gender into this, but it's better to hang out with the male buddies in the man cave, drinking beer, having nachos with spicy cheese, watching classic wrestling and playing games, than to be with women who will nag and bring their attitudes.
@residentevilumbrella2001 yeah, unfortunately the females don’t all necessarily like the arcades too much :) it’s a great way to hang out with the guys and bond
Super cool arcade, man, thanks for sharing. Got some great nostalgia flash backs when I saw X-Men, TMNT, The Simpsons, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, NBA Jam and Open Ice! Man, wish a cool retro arcade would come back to my town. So much fun. Great deal, too. $20 for the day!? Nice.
@@PDX7 man, it had been quite a few years, hard to remember. Used to have machines like this in at least three good spots in town, now not really anywhere. Last time I played The Simpsons game was at the bowling alley probably 8 years ago I’m gonna guess. Been too long.
This is awesome Phil. I remember you showing us that beautiful spiderman cabinet on a walk and talk in past couple weeks. Interestingly this town is only 1hr 45m away from me. I'd love to visit, but I'm only 10 minutes from Galloping Ghost so I'm going to look for that spiderman cabinet next time I go to Galloping Ghost. They got lethal enforcers, but gotta look for spiderman and hook. Love the graphics on that Batman Forever, will have to check that out also lol. Careful with that lake behind you, more mosquitos :)
Lol thanks for remembering Kevin :) those mosquitoes follow me around! That’s cool your close are you closer to Rockford or Chicago? Galloping Ghost is my next arcade to visit. Thanks for watching Kevin 👊
I live 2 1/2 hours from Mugwonago. I'm going to make a trip there soon! New to the channel and recently started my arcade collection. I have 2 cabinets so far. They're like tattoos, get one next thing you know, you have a sleeve. Just SUBSCRIBED!!
6:55 I have a Final Fight arcade that I bought for 275 of Craig's list close to 15 years ago. It's side art was damaged.... control panel gave off excessive heat(guessing incorrect wiring) and second player joystick only worked it 2 of 4 directions. I only had it in original form for about a month then stripped it to make a PC multicade. I got an X-Arcade dual stick sitting slightly uneven with custom vinyl and buttons and a 24 inch 1080p monitor. I also redid t-molding to sky blue and led lit the marquee. I might one day get a 45 inch screen and mount it vertically to have full screen space and just crop Windows but the TV that fits it's dimensions last time I checked was about 375.
Wow man that arcade is dope! So many great titles and memories! Well got through the short work week since I started Wednesday. lol But things are going good and I'm slowly picking back up where I left off. The whole place will be moving this coming October to another area, just a few miles from the current location. Shouldn't affect the job or anything like that. The Z was giving me all he had this week going past half and more with the temp gauge. But he got me to work and back home each time. As well as God helping me out.
I’m glad to hear Atran, He’s always looking out :) Thanks for letting me know how your first week back was I was thinking about it last night when we were at a concert wondering if you were still working was a late night. Soon we will check out Galloping Ghosts in Chicago.
@@PDX7 Thanks man and Amen to that! And it's nice you were thinking about my status at work. Yeah it's 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11pm Mon-Fri. I love that shift as my wife also has it with a half hour difference. lol She works 2pm to 10:30pm Mon-Fri or at times overtime. And sounds cool man! I would love to check out the Galloping Ghost sometime!
That place kicks so much A$$ it’s ridiculous. We used to have a place here in Cincinnati called Arcade Legends that was very similar. Give the owner $10 and you could play every game in the building for the entire day. Before that tho, 90s, you took your quarters to TimeOut @ the mall on Friday/Saturday nights, and spent WAY MORE than $10…
It’s a shame that the Galaga deluxe cabinet has the stick center positioned, instead of to the left like the arcade machine. It makes playing it a little weird.
