Edit: BOTH KEYS HAVE BEEN CLAIMED! Thank you all for participating and leaving your feedback on this experiment. I think making the giveaway more of a puzzle is an idea worth pursuing, but I need to work on it some more. In the meantime, if you have any ideas to improve this giveaway format, then let me know! If you're hungry for more Oregon DLC content after this one, then take a look at this vid from my second channel: ruclips.net/video/NlnISSRk6p0/видео.html
Not sure if you this giveaway is working as intended. Even when you have all six pieces of the codes there are still 120 different ways of arranging them if I'm not mistaken. Another commenter said that he got locked out of entering Steam codes for trying too many invalid ones.
Deadstick, look at that on steam. No idea if it will be good or bad... just looks interesting. (Bushflying...) Early access, not sure when its releasing.
I like the challenge of the giveaway, but the problem is that we can't do more than 10 attempts on Steam and there are over 100 combinations with the 6 codes :/
Well many times I see a video like this and even if it hadn't taken long to try the keys, they are already gone. At least with this and steam making us wait it gives people a chance that can't do it right away.
To every one complaining about the contest. No one says you have to try it. If you don't try it you are no worse off. And some one has to win, just have to have patience and try when you can. This way just means that people have to work harder to get the keys. Most times it's just a lotto but this way if some one really wants the key they will keep working at getting it and not just rely on luck. Thank you for the keys Squirrel I will keep trying to get it till either I get one or find out that the keys have already been found. That is great news about your license I know you have worked hard to get it and look forward to hearing about your adventures.
Congratulations on passing your PPL. I started mine in 1995 but failed the medical. I didn't even know I had heart issues so in a way it saved my life but stopped my flying dead in it's track. Looking forward to seeing you fly the sim routes for real. You will have to upload the flight plan so we can fly it too. Good luck in the future with your flying career.
Squirrel, When I was training for my private license I was flying a Cessna 152 into an airfield that was half military. The tower asked me to expedite the landing as there was a flight of 2 F-16 fighter jets on a couple mile final. As I was coming over the numbers I noticed that my shadow was going much faster than I was. I looked up and the fighters flew over and entered the pattern a few hundred feet above me. One of the most fun I had making a landing.
I already bought the DLC based on your reviews / gameplay amongst others. It really looks incredible and I don't think too much about how much the entire United States would cost me in the long run :P I have had more fun with these incremental updates every now and then than with most other games that try to persuade me to buy useless stuff through micro transactions.
Hi Squirrel. In regards your PPL. I feel for you. Working full time, it took me a year and a half to get my U.S. PPL. Got it in 2011. I trained in a Piper Warrior and Cessna 172 in the Class B airspace of San Francisco. My FAA check ride instructor must have been the guy who gave Icarus his check ride. Dude had me so stressed out that at one point during a simulated engine out landing, I cussed at him and told him to be quite. Gads what a day. Made it tho and was so relieved to have gotten my License. Have fun up there. Oh yeah....love watching your trucking videos.
Getting a PPL seems much easier here in the states. First up is the pre-solo exam. You can't really fail it. Its just a small quiz between you and the instructor about the local flying area. Second is the written exam. Then the big check ride. You apply for the certificate before the check ride and the examiner will finish it if you pass. The check ride is both an oral exam and skills exam. If you pass the check ride you'll walk out with a non restricted temp certificate. A few weeks later the plastic card shows up in the mail. At least that's how it was 7 years ago for me. I know some of it has changed a bit.
Well, This is not that related to the video, but I'm very excited for Beyond the Baltic Sea... It says it goes up to St. Petersburg, which is awesome! Can't wait.
Good luck flying & cross training to a new plane....... Thanks for the video and teaching us what you know so it saves time for us in playing ATS. I didn't bother taking down the numbers, I was away, and it was probably two weeks until I got to watch your video, however I'll be purchasing Oregon soon... Unlike you, I do not run anything that is not offered by SCS. Recently they brought out trailers, but I've yet to equip my garages with them because it restricts what they can haul in my opinion. For example right now I have a tri-axle van trailer hooked up and that is all I can pull, unless I take it all the way back to my own garage where that truck is assigned. Even though I purchased the "heavy haul" package, it's not usable if you have your own trailer on, so you loose out on those short run big dollars/ or pounds (where you come from). Also, I have said from the beginning the mirrors are fairly useless if you are far away from your parking space. For "blind-side" backing up into a loading dock, you still have to use the #2 function on the key board which puts you out side the truck so you can back in with reasonable accuracy. On a normal back-up procedure, you can just look out the window and get a accurate idea where your trailer is. Furthermore, not many truckers do "blind-side" back up's as they are dangerous, so as many as are in this game I feel again it makes it unrealistic. The mirrors simply need a zoom function or some way of working better that they are accurate when looking 4 times the trailer length as what you need when backing up, especially in a Peterbilt 389 or a Kenworth like you drove here with the long hood. I find the trucks with long hoods easier to drive and keep on the road in my lane. ........
Congratulations on your pilot's licence, and thanks for the quality videos. Sometimes I watch just to listen and here's a prime example why, such a great tale.
what I use with my G27, is the Thrustmaster TH8X shifter plus the SKRS. and created a stand out of wood to raise it to the right height for my chair. plus on the stand then added a butchered usb cabled keyboard mobo, and soldered some buttons and switches and works really cool for trucking. but the TH8X is a shifter that I would recommend for a review.
Cessna 172 is a beautifull and easy plane to fly, i had 3 lessons in that. I don't really go for a flying license, i just fly for fun. But i really enjoy flying the Cessna around
I'm looking forward to getting the Oregon DLC, but I'm waiting for it to go on sale. In the meantime, you're giveaway here is a great idea. I found all 6 codes and have attempted 10 tries of various combinations, only to be stopped by Steam's code-entry limitation saying that I'll have to wait a while until I can try some more.... lol Beautiful country (I lived in Oregon for a while, south-central, just to the west of I-5 @ Roseburg), and you vid of it is great. Also looking forward to your future line-up of vids, especially your reviews of hardware (I'm strictly keyboard at the moment). Thanks much, Squirrel. :)
Same, Squirrel please don't do this anymore... I don't know If I could get a ban for trying the code but I'd rather have a Gleam giveaway or a random viewer giveaway.
Congrats on the PPL! :) I'm so excited for sim hardware stuff. :) Can't wait for that! I just recently bought myself a Logitech X56 Rhino HOTAS setup. I did a lot of research prior to buying it, and so i saw the myriad of issues people have had with that stick. However, i got it for basically 25% of normal retail price (in other words, cheaper than the cheapest hotas setup i could find), and it is the "revamped" Logitech version, so i decided to take the chance. I'm definitely glad i got it cheap, haha. Probably wouldn't have been happy with the quality of it, at full retail price. :) I got it basically for Ace Combat 7 when that arrives, but in the meantime i want to get a bit into space sims, and i want to try some flight sims as well. :) Only thing is, now i want to get some rudder pedals.. I guess it just never ends. :) Anyway, welcome back, and again, i'm excited for the upcoming hardware videos! :)
Make sure we can get discounts on those wheels snd shifters while you're at it. I've been using a flightstick up until now and really want a wheel and shifter.
I'm really happy to hear you're going to play My Summer Car again. It's the main reason I subscribed. It was really fun to just chill out and watch your past episodes, When you stopped doing them, I tried to find another channel, but no one else on youtube is as fun to watch.
When you say that exciting stuff from SCS is coming in the next few months I really hope there are some new trucks coming. I know that the Volvo VNL series and the International Lonestar are rumored to be coming soon.
Times have been BRUTAL on the new DLC if you actually follow the rules of the road. I got stuck on that same bridge annnnnd also I have had a lot of loads either late or barely made it on time.
Congrats on passing your test! An amazing achievement, those tests sound very difficult and a lot of work to pass. You must be well chuffed! Well done!:-)
I see where you’re coming from, appearantly I have been running towards a burnout myself lately. Eyes wide open, no clue it was happening. Like you decides to stop in my tracks, literally cause I quit my job (the main cause of stress), and now taking a bit of time off. Allthough I myself am not that into flying, videos comparing sim with real life flying sounds really great, looking forward to that.
Congrats on getting your PPL Paul :-) I remember the NFT and GFT very well. I learnt at Leavesden but I was subsequently based at Andrewsfield - just down the road from Earls Colne. Good luck with the night rating and don't forget that an IMC rating is a handy addition to your skill set.
I'm new to your videos. I really enjoyed this. Just like hopping in the passengers seat and having a conversation on a run down the coast. I'm also on the lookout for a wheel so perfect timing :)
A few things I got to say. The DLC Key giveaway... please make it more like a lottery instead of making people get blocked by steam for entering too many keys. PLEASE get back to My Summer Car. You did a really great job with these videos. More YT videos would be much appreciated by anyone alien to media formats like twitch, as I am. I tried it, but I can't stand it. An idea that I had, what you actually do already to a good extent, is to add technical backround information, not only to the games and hardware you use, but also to the real thing. I look forward to your insights on flying, but you might also consider to talk to real truckers if you can, maybe see if there are good dashcam youtube truckers or so, who can give you intresting insight on the actual job and the machines they use. I really enjoy your channel and I hope you do more in the future. Congrats on the license. Greetings form Germany.
But the big trouble with twitch for me is every 5 minutes there will be either a delivery of some random person who wants attention or a resub with all the congratz. No real talk like this or just random stuff like in one of the old trucking diaries.
hey paul. if you want to try something out in real life and compare it with a sim... would you like the offer to drive in a LNG/CNG scania truck?? and try to find out how it is to drive down and manouver in narrow streets??
Hello Squirrel I just started watching your videos a while ago and love them. Astoria is my favorite city in the Oregon DLC. Congrats on your PPL and greetings from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in the United States.
Well done Paul..everyone needs to stop and smell the roses occasionally, after 3 months of taking it easy am just heading back into the workforce but on a much lighter load. Well done on the videos looking forward to them especially the hardware and flight ones, will be interesting to see what type of steering wheels you come up with, good luck mate and dont forget to take time to just sit back and look at life as we are only here for a while not eternity :)
Although I started watching your videos due to ETS2 back in the day, I have to say hearing you are bringing back My Summer Car is fantastic news. I have never played the game myself and have no intention of ever buying it it I must say your videos and streams of it are amazing. It's a fun game to watch you play
Congratulations on passing your PPL. That is great. I hope you eventually will sett heading towards Norway and our stunning fjords and mountains for a flight you will never forget :-) I am looking forward to dropping in on Steam from time with my weird sense of humor, and i think i will enjoy the future of your channel,as i have enjoyed the past :-)
I play with no map mods, but the bridge at Astoria for me was broken big time. there was bits floating in mid air, the bridge had duplicated it self 3 or 4 times and the whole road was mis aligned. weird
Too may activation attempts too many possibilities, plus i'm not sure if steam can get a hold of this not risking a ban or block from steam sorry Paul this was a bad idea.Hope someone gets lucky at the first try.

First off congratulation and sorry that you are not allow to carry the passenger. Second off I found three codes but I don't care as I own neither PC nor steam account. So, good luck guys.
The PA 28 Warrior 3 is very nice to fly but as i'm only 5ft 1in it's a bit to big the 172N Skyhawk is more like it it's an easy aircraft very unforgiving in a stall and as it was the first aircraft i'v flown G-BOIL 1979 from Barton ( Manchester EGCB) Trust me you will love flying the 172 it's a great little aircraft!..

I'd love more flight sim or flying squirrel videos!
I love the skins in this new retro pack!
It good to have you back Squirrel with trucking vids and congrats on your ppl keep up the good work
Hi I am so pleased you passed your PPL and safe future flying
Have you seen the trailer for Alaskan Truck Simulator?
Yes
Oh, I've been wondering for a while about the changes on your channel, I finally found this video :D
Congratulations on getting your BPL. I thoroughly enjoy your content. Keep up the great work.
Congratulations on the PPL, well done mate. Oh and good to see you back with us ordinary people ;-)
Welcome back... cant wait for more content.
Congratulations Squirrel on your PPL!! Great vid.
welcome back and congrats on the PPL
Congrats on yer PPL, well done Squirrel!
Maybe when they have a Tesla Semi available to drive, don't want to drive a fossil truck :)
*We need Road Trains*
_Bob McCoy That would be awesome but they’re illegal in the United States. Buying a triple trailer is the closest you can get.
Pacific Truck Simulator for 2020 or something? Like Indonesia and Australia. idk that's the only road trains would really happen.
@@markhenley3097
Why would you need another country with Australia? We're basically the same size as the US... www.ga.gov.au/__data/assets/image/0016/12535/GA6264.gif
We need Australian Truck Simulator lol
@@AN2Felllla that would be cool but when you think about it australia is just long boring roads haha
First off congratulation and sorry that you are not allow to carry the passenger. Second off I found three codes but I don't care as I own neither PC nor steam account. So, good luck guys.
DO YOU KNOW With those 6 parts and if you have a good luck you must try more than 20 times to get the 1st correct key .... NICE GAME
You should do your Helicopter PPL its great fun
Far too expensive !
congratulations to the PPL! Well done!
Interesting idea with the giveaway👍 already have the dlc based on your review so I just wish y'all good luck
I just love to watch these kind of videos!
I don’t even have the game😭😭
Don't worry I don't have it either my computer sucks.
lucianfri 🤣😂😂😂😂
the flybe was probably a dash8 q400Train sim?
The PA 28 Warrior 3 is very nice to fly but as i'm only 5ft 1in it's a bit to big the 172N Skyhawk is more like it it's an easy aircraft very unforgiving in a stall and as it was the first aircraft i'v flown G-BOIL 1979 from Barton ( Manchester EGCB)
Trust me you will love flying the 172 it's a great little aircraft!..
So the 172 is great but unforgiving in a stall ?
Flightsims coming back! Wooooo :D
Lovely game and lovely content, I think they should link ETS and ATS through Russia & Alaska and just make it one game...That would be COOL.
Looking forward to all the racing stuff, Really enoying your iRaicing and Truck streams :)
Very great idea to give codes away. 10/10 I didn’t get one sadly but still 10/10 :-)
