The real toxicity is from Disney's marketing machine itself. It has warped itself into this giant shade-thrower, in some ill-conceived attempt to mask and deflect the diminished quality of productions. Well, that's their prerogative, but this self-defeating strategy will naturally backfire in the end because love doesn't grow in the shade.
Let's face it everyone knows Carson is the "anchor being" of star wars. He is the glue that holds the universe together and Star Wars can never truly die as long as his character lives.
What I want to see is Kathleen Kennedy fired with the Sequel Trilogy & The Acolyte completely dropped from official canon. That is about the only thing that could win me back.
I think they need to continue exploring the Mandoverse era…recast Luke, Leia etc to have them more present. People say that it shrinks the world including the movie characters…I have a bunch of books (no longer canon) that say telling more of their stories is a good idea. Get the popularity of the franchise back…get people looking forward to releases again, then expand. But above all, get some good writers, have Dave or whoever keep track of the lore and oversee timelines and events to keep it coherent and remove contradictions. Oh, and not every character has to be the most powerful Jedi.
If I were president of lucasfilm I’d use the madoverse to use the world between worlds or another plot device to retcon the sequels into an alternate timeline. I’d recast Leia, Han, and Luke and have a couple of shows on Disney plus to show some of their adventures after ROTJ. I’d also release a new set of sequel movies to pass the torch to a new set of characters.
Cara Dune was a good character. I hate politics ruining all of this for us. Andor was almost perfect. Hopefully Season 2 is just as good. They need to do Ahsoka season 2 as well. But I think it should end there, and be wrapped up with the movie. While I don't hate any of the other live action series, I think they are spreading themselves too thin. It's better to be left with a great show wanting more, than to have a show running forever that is a shadow of its former glory. Like The Simpsons.
To be fair, Carano is an absolute piece of shit and probably would've been dropped for being a nightmare to work with anyways, brain damage from MMA notwithstanding.

Hi Meg. I wouldn't be suprised if we get Leia, Han and Luke in Jon Favreau's move. When he first announced his Mandalorian plans he among other things said that he thought the fans deserved to see Luke Han and Leia together again as the heros we recognise them from the OT. He started with Luke in Mando s2. Then Kathleen got pissed cause he got the fans happy again, and put Dave in charge. So hopfully Jon can do what he planned in the Mando and Grogu movie
I want to see a show about the Empire hunting down survivors of the Jedi Purge, maybe with the Inquisitors butting heads with the other members of the Imperial forces. Make us see them as an actual threat instead of just an opponent that fan favorite characters can deal with in a single blow. Maybe even use that as an opportunity to introduce other orders of Force-wielders. Another thing I’d like to see, and I don’t know if this would be better as a show or a comic, but a piece of media detailing how Thrawn survived on Peridea and how Pelleon knew he was going to return, though granted they might do the second part of that in Dave Filloni’s movie
I would like to see a live action Omega series or film. As for the Rey movie, it's good they're taking their tine with this (if it ever happens?). Give us a well written story.
How to save Star Wars in one easy step... an animated series of Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire series, even if they stick the Legends yeah on it pretty much every OG SW fan would be immediately on board.
It wouldn't work, Zahn straight up said that, it has too much worldbuilding in it that wouldn't come across on a screen as much as in a book. I do think Zahn should be involved with the writers room consistently.
@@Stardiplomaticincident Patrick Stewart and the actress that plays X-23 both said they weren't in their respective films it's been happening for decades why are people mad now?
I don't know why you're making a big deal out of that article - you weren't personally attacked and Star Wars RUclipsrs - and many in the fandom lately - are spreading toxicity and false information at an alarming and unchecked rate. Eman, if in the movie, would have signed an NDA and he'd be in big pile of trouble if he confirmed anything at this time.
I think adapting the high republic novels to movies would be a good idea. They are really good stories and character development. The Nilhil is a great villain for the Jedi that isn’t the sith.
You had the audacity to state you did not like the Acolyte, and no matter how objective and constructive your criticism was, you have been marked for it by mainstream journos and Lucasfilm sycophants. You're not "big" enough to be directly named yet(or credited), but keep doing the great work you do and eventually you'll probably get the libel too.
Another animated show, aside from the tales of the ... or visions. I do like the shorter stories of those, but I want to get invested in a multi season story like the clone wars, rebels and bad batch. The bad batch had drawn me into the story so much that it was my most anticipated star wars show/movie for a long while. We need to see a grown up Omega with the older bad batch, or a story following Asaaj Ventress and Quinlan Vos or something to extend that show in some way. It ended very nicely for young Omega and the bad batch, but I want to see what older Omega and ventress is up to.
In my opinion, I would make an animated series similar to Clone Wars but set in the original trilogy, expanding on the galactic civil war against the empire, to give context and background to the entire Mandoverse and all its characters, such as Carson Teva and Alderaan, the war of Mandalore against the empire with Ahsoka, Sabine and Bo Katan, the survivors of Dathomir like Ventress, the future of Omega... And perhaps think about a live action micro-series focused on Thrawn after the release of the second season of Ahsoka, and before Filoni's movie, which goes deeper with the main villain of the Mandoverse. And wait for the reception of the new projects and movies to make decisions...
I can’t wait for the next season of Andor! I would really LOVE more Obi Wan Kenobi!!! ❤ And can’t wait for The Mandalorian! Also, how about the adventures Leía had between her adventures with Obi Wan and where she ends up on Episode 4!
What I want most from Disney/Lucasfilm is for them to focus on telling great stories rather than pushing agendas. The 'let the past die' philosophy has really missed the mark. What fans truly want is to see the characters we know and love brought back to life on screen with stories that resonate deeply with the fanbase. Take 'The Acolyte,' for example. It promised a Sith-centered storyline but fell short. If the goal was to explore the Sith, they should have given us a protagonist who was already an apprentice to an established Sith Lord, allowing us to delve deeper into that dynamic from the start.
The 'let the past die' philosophy was that of Kylo Ren, who had turned to the dark side having been manipulated his entire life. It would be unwise to assume that Lucasfilm has been malicious toward the characters fans love. Based on context clues from the rest of the Saga, what eventually happened to them should have been expected... their 'ends' crucial to the grander narrative and themes. I think you hit the nail of the head when you asked they be "brought back to life on screen with stories that resonate deeply with the fanbase." From my informed point of view, it's going happen. So much of the story is still left to transpire. _"It's not over yet."_
It would be pretty cool if they started Yuuzhan Vong set of movies or maybe an animated show since it's such a huge series of books. I'd also really like to see a Bane trilogy or just more Old Republic stuff in general like around Revan. I'd still like to see more High Republic stuff as well around the Nihil.
I would like to see the animated version of the story told in Darth Maul son of Dathomir. It's been exclusive to the comics for a decade and it's an important part of the Maul arc. Star Wars Needs to do what Star Trek Discovery did and jump about 1000 years in the future.
I think the best thing Star Wars in recent memory was the show with the short stories and different art styles. Exploring stories further away from the trilogies and getting some new stuff in this huge awesome universe is the way to go.
The Saga features the mainline narrative and themes, so all other volumes of the story must relate to it and provide further context. It should be clear by now that 'getting new stuff' is not what Star Wars is about. That being said, we should expect stuff we haven't seen yet: incomplete character arcs, plots left unresolved, elements foreshadowed... a great many things still to come.
Don't let the naysayers get to you, Meg. You do a terrific job, and you've never deliberately given us misinformation. WE trust you. As to the future of SW,? I'm wondering if Iger isn't waiting for KK to retire before introducing a new direction for the franchise. KK hasn't done a very credible job introducing various subjects to the franchise
I don't know why they are not exploring the Old Republic era. It's well established, and has a huge fan base. It's also steeped in lore and rich in story potential. Fans are absolutely chomping at the bit to see live action Revan, so why not on the big screen.
Remember ppl since Disney bought star wars every chance they've had, they show us one thing and then do something completely different. I'll remember you said it, we love u Meg
Because you asked this is what I would focus on. First off we need a clone wars style cartoon focusing on the new republic, og trilogy cast, the rise of the imperial remnants, and the downfall of Kylo Ren. This will serve as a way to fill in and fix some of the shortcomings of the sequel trilogy just as the clone wars did for the prequels. Second I’d stop working on multiple movies at the same time. Focus all effort on Mando and grogu (which I would change the name to “The Way Of Mandalore” ). As that is in production get the best film writers in the industry with Dave filoni to plan the heir to the empire trilogy featuring Ahsoka as our protagonist. Recast Luke with his body double, Anthony Ingruber as Han, Donald glover as Lando, and Billy lord as Leia. No deep fake. As for live action tv book of boba 2 and hire gilroy to fix that mess.
Because there are so many ‘manosphere’ dudes that are just there to bash Rey. Not to offer commentary and how it could have been written better, no, just hateful and … toxic. Good commentary or theory speculation. Like yours. Keep going, I’ll still be watching you. ❤
As far as games go I want to see a commando style bad batch game and also a gta style game with multiple characters that you can switch between and planets you can go to. As far as other content I leave that to Dave and Jon 💅🏼
Star Wars Explained couple must come clear whether they are employees of Disney or not. They have internal scoops on info, interviews with cast, books month earlier than rest of RUclipsrs. In my humble opinion they are 100% working in either Lucasfilm Community Department or Disney Public Relations Department. Every drama in Star Wars RUclips community flows from them, every time. If they are employees of Lucasfilm or Disney, we should them as well as responsible for any information denial that is withold for "press".
The best thing that Star wars could do right now is lean into the legacy material that they had Cade Skywalker as a trilogy of movies would be incredible
IMO, they should do an animated Knights of the Old Republic, Clone Wars style. That's where they (Disney) seem to do their best work. Stick to what you're good at, and things will work out.
I want either a Vader live action series set after ROTS or a Darth Maul series. I would interested in a KOTOR series but not done by the Acolyte people but someone like Tony Gilroy or someone who has done serious drama TV
I’m in agreement. The most compelling character in Star Wars is Vader. I would love to see them start right after he becomes Vader & start telling stories of what’s happening with the Empire. This could turn into a trilogy if the 1st one does really good.
Follow the stench of the money... those involved are more interested in $100-million budgets than creating something fun. They're not the passionate lot that built this franchise. We got lucky with Dave... I'm sure there are others out there, but Disney-Imperialist are the problem.
I would love to see another animated series. With everyone talking about what a 💩 series the Acolyte was I don’t there were enough people talking about the final season of the Bad Batch. The finale of the series was incredible. The ending prologue although unnecessary was still the Chefs Kiss to that show. It also left open a possibility of a feature with Ventress Assage and Hondo Ohnaka which would do well as an action/ adventure or even a comedy.
I’d like to see a maybe 3 movie telling of the KOTOR story. Or for them to go way back and create new characters that way - I’d like to see early Jedi/sith vibroblades/proto-sabers. Without breaking anything lore/story wise down the road.
What the franchise needs is new big epic story, a new trilogy or even better, a new hexalogy set in the old republic or in the far future, with a lot of new compelling characters and villains.
I am sceptic in regards to the movies, I have to say. I hope they do well though. What would interest me? Series, especially Mando Verse that really tell their story, meaning no 24 Minute Episodes, but real 1 Hour episodes, and 10 -15 episodes, telling the story fully, not in bits and pieces. Recasting Han (please recast again, Aldrige missed the mark), Leia and Luke, to actually show their history in that time period would be great. A real Jedi Academy series would be enjoyable too. But again: make the room the story needs. The Ahsoka series and Peredia do fascinate me greatly, and would be something I'd love to see explored.
As a consumer, the optimal option, is vote with your wallet to continue Disney’s downfall. That’s what I’m going to do. I’m not going to watch another Ray Trilogy.
Only live-action for the films & all animation for the Disney+ series. It just worked. Live-action series just look so tacky & u can tell they’re given such a lower production value..
For me, the "what" is far, FAR less important than the "why"? The buck doesn't stop at ANYONE who understands the I.P. They need to "go back to formula" with Star Wars and place its roadmap in the hands of CREATIVES, not timid, politician bean-counters. Princess Leia story? Rey? Ahsoka? Empire? First Order? I don't care. Whatever it is, just make it out of a love of Star Wars, not out of a desire to manipulate and fleece fans of Star Wars.
@@PlumbRalph The reality is, if fans truly want to know what happened to the OT characters before, during, and after the OT, others forms of official canon are currently available. Shame so many don't have the desire to read them, even they're available for cheap or at libraries for free. Assumption and laziness are a powerful combination. From my point of view, these volumes contain a lot of eyebrow-raising things that have largely gone unnoticed throughout the story... not limited to the comics and novels. And because of this, Star Wars has surprises are in store... _in spades._
The only thing that can save the franchise at this point is retconning everything Disney has done except for Mando S1-S3, CW season 7, Rebels, Rogue One, & Andor. They redo the sequel trilogy. Rey and Finn would still be in it but this time with Ben Skywalker, Mara Jade, & the solo twins. Also the focus of a new ST should not be about a rehashed second-rate empire but instead the chiss & the unknown threat from outside the known galaxy. (Grysk)
Mostly I just want solid stories that do not undercut or retcon existing lore or characters. In my view that is where much of the newer content has gone wrong. I know they can do it because they have already done it. Rouge One gave us a solid story with humor, new characters that were interesting, high stakes and great action that actually tied into, rather than altered existing content. Everything Star Wars fans want. As far as where do I them them to go. My absolute dream content would be a Vong Trilogy, but yes, I know it's never going to happen. Still, they could take that premise, an outside threat that pulls the galaxy together and do something with that.
The problem as I see it (long term Star Wars fan, saw a new hope at the cinema when I was 7) is the story arc from the Mandalorian and Ashoka onwards. There’s nothing wrong with these shows but at some point they have to interact with the sequel trilogy and I’m not going to sugar coat it, narratively they were a disaster. The Force Awakens was initially OK but ended up being a weak retelling of a new hope. The Last Jedi (the best of the three) had some really quite good moments, with only a few tweaks and adjustments, it would’ve been a really good film. The Rise of Skywalker was absolutely awful. It would’ve been better if it had just been JJ Abrams on screen for two hours apologising to the fanbase saying ‘we’ve completely run out of ideas, we’ve got nothin’. How the series are supposed to link up with ‘the clusterf*** period’ as I like to call it is anyone’s guess.
I'm listerning through Legends books, one every weekish. There is so much source material there to spawn original canon for live action shows or animation. It's not necessary to have the og cast of any of the movies appear in cameos, just a name drop is cool enough. On the Cara Dune front it's easy she died on mission... Her sister takes her place wanting revenge for death and all Alderaanian ppl.
It would be a big mistake for LucasFilm to cancel the Rey movie. I predicted months ago that LucasFilm will eventually stop talking about a Rey movie, and they will hope we eventually forget about it. Now that The Acolyte has created so much drama, there is a much lesser chance of theee ever being another Rey movie. The Acolyte and the Rey movie were supposed to remake StarWars, Kathleen Kennedy had been hoping, and all future Star Wars stories, she hoped, even in the comics, would build up from The Acolyte and the sequel trilogy so that Star Wars would become Kennedy's legacy instead of George Lucas' legacy after she retired. That was her hope since the weeks before the Rey film was announced. Then came that big fight last year over The Acolyte, when staked everything on the success of The Acolyte, agreeing to step down from LucasFilm altogether if it doesn't succeed; then the Rey movie backlash 2 or 3 months later. Instead of canceling the Rey movie, she ought to make on anyway and put it on Disney+; or they can just forget about making it, but never announce it's canceled. LucasFilm pushed that Rey film wayyy too much to just cancel. That' a bad look to their investors. They should make some decisions, but don't cancel it.
As long as the only thing Disney is capable of is putting out man hating girl boss movies, I see nothing but money losing flop after flop for them. Disney refuses to have any male role models for the feminist considers any manly part to be toxic while in reality the only thing toxic is the non stop man hating girl bosses they keep throwing at the fan base.
Actors absolutely cannot confirm if they are involved and in what way in a project under most contracts, particularly smaller cast players. The contracts they sign contain non disclosure language with financial penalties up to and including being removed from the project altogether.
I don't care what everyone else thinks you are the only one that I listen to plus you tell it like you see it. I think that Omega and Bad Batch movie would pull the franchise out of the hole there in. That new guy that signed the big contract should make it so let's see what he's got. So if the Ray movie has more work to do on it and they scrap it then I think that the Ray movie was never going to be made. Oh well that's all I got so May The Force be With you Star Wars Meg Always.👽🖖
If it’s not Tony Gilroy’s Andor season 2 ..? Who cares! All these “Star War’s for Kids” projects are dying via the same old childish nonsense like “Ewoks defeating a Galactic Empire”, reused concepts, immature plot, outdated storytelling, bad writing, etc. “Star War’s for Kids only” is a flawed creative business model. Hence the D+ train wrecks!
@@Dexter037S4 Young people entering adolescence was the intended audience for the lessons being conveyed in the Star Wars stories. If George wanted it that way, why are you complaining?
I think Star Wars Tales or Star Wars Infinities needs to be done. I think the animated series from different studios was a great idea. I think the animated series hold more promise. I prefer the more traditional animation styles to the Clone Wars or Bad Batch style of animation. The Jedi ronin story, I felt, was one of the best in style and story.
Disney at this moment is blaming the 'fans' for what they have created. Are the fans (and when I mean fans the OG fans from the Originals, the Prequals, and there's the new Disney Star Wars fans) responsible for the material that is written, filmed and produced? No they are not, they watch what George Lucas created and now the multiple Directors and writers that Disney SW cast, they are not hired for what credits they have achieved, but what they either look like or gender, or if they are an activist. And the way Disney Star Wars is heading is not a good place. Yes they can created good shows, looks back at season 1 of Mandalorian, it felt like Star Wars, then it went down hill in the second season, the third season was a bait and switch kicking Mando down to bring up Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan, concerning the Darksaber, we all seen what was happening. Most of the 2nd and 3rd seasons were mostly filler episodes. Andor had a good reception to, felt gritty and concerning all the political battles against the Empire and the begins of the Rebellion without it making themselves targets that stand out. The other shows, Ahsoka for example, alot of time of people standing around talking for very long periods of time, lightsabers not working as they should, (R.I.P. Qui-Gon Jinn), Sabine using the force without being force sensitive and not showing any signs of being sensitive to the force in Rebels, and she should of remained dead after the first episode. Then there's the whole Thrawn dilemma. Being a huge Heir to the Empire series, Thrawn in Ahsoka was a complete joke, you are talking about a military strategist seeing things before they happen, thinking outside the box depending who he was fighting against. We didn't see this in the show. And now comes the Acolyte, really.... Do I really need to get everyone to remember, bad from the beginning, makes Anakin's uniqueness void, brings in people who are not even born yet (Ki-Adi-Mundi) turns Darth Plagueis the Wise, into Darth Plagueis the Copycat. Blaming the Jedi for something they were easily defending themselves against, but labelled "The Bad Guys" The constant character changed from good to bad to good to bad personalities with the twins, the lightsaber battle that makes the Anakin Vs Obi-Wan look like nothing, while seeing it behind trees, didn't see much. I could go on but this is already taking alot of space. I really wish like most fans of this massive franchise is that it can some day go back to it's roots. Make it entertainment not propaganda on real world politics and social constructs. Star Wars is a huge galaxy that, Yes have different world views but look at Disney Star Wars compared to Lucas Star Wars. Fans are leaving and saying Star Wars is dead. Go back to where Star Wars was fun, excited, not now where, fans are saying what crap they're going to shove down our throats now. Long Live the Expanded Universe, that was Star Wars.
I will always be a Star Wars fan. Disney cant take that away from me. I think that Disney needs to completely scrap the Sequel Trilogy and dovetail the post ROTJ content into a new Star Wars EU that takes advantage of the EU content the way it should have from the beginning. Starting with a Timothy Zahn Thrawn Trilogy like movie series. There will have to be some rewriting to fit pertinent pieces from the Mandoverse but the Skywalker sage needs to be given it's due on screen in the theaters. No grumpy disillusioned Luke BS. That is not in his character... the Jedi Master Luke dealt with great trauma and dealt with philosophical disagreements with the previous Jedi order... but he did not give into despair even when Jacen Solo went Sith. That is the core of his character, the ability to see hope no matter what and stand fast. That is the only way to fix this mismanaged debacle. Stick to the heart of the story and stop trying to shoehorn in a political agenda. This is not about EARTH humans... it is about a cosmopolitan galactic civilization with OTHER issues. There are plenty of strong female heroes in the EU. Let that be enough. The universal issue of freedom and the need to be eternally vigilant are enough. I'd throw a party if Disney decided to to sell the franchise. They were doomed the moment they chose to not use the EU material. Period. Lay down your pride and admit you f-d up or sell the property and let someone else do it right.
If I were the president of Disney I would...... probably make a bigger mess of Star Wars than what has already be done, so I'm just going to keep doing what I know how to do. I am not perfect, and I do not expect others to be. I do want the Star Wars story-telling to continue after George Lucas dies. So I'm getting what I want here. There is room for improvement, so I will keep telling Disney that, but in a nice way.
Meg does the best break downs. Meg has the best inside info. Meg is Tops. I appreciate Meg. Starwars should make a Toxic Male something and see if viewership matches the Woke Agenda items and then they should balance the two. Stop making every live action look like cartoons. Start Making Cartoons for kids and 3D animation for Post RoTJ Luke. No More live action series until they get a following.
Being as Disney has been holding Star Wars hostage on Disney +, I haven't been able to watch a lot of the shows. I did by DVD copies of the Mandalorian, Bobafett and Obi-wan shows, the rest I can't judge, I haven't seen them.
The fact is that Star Wars RUclipsrs became very toxic. The whole drama that's been going on since the Acolyte, and the little girl slap-fight between two channels, has proven the toxicity better than any article or video. Someone else on the thread said "Just be better"... and that's what needs to happen. Don't duck your responsibility and don't duck your accountability because even YOU Meg... even you joined the rage-bait crowd. Just do better... That's all.
This is more or less what I was going to post as well. I do think Meg has been relatively civil for the most part however and does call out people a lot of the time if they're being overly toxic to those who are overly fanatic on whichever side of the fence they're on and at least tries to be subjective. But, overall, I understand why people are turning against the Star Wars RUclipsrs because a lot of them are just fanning the flames because they know that they'll get more views and, if they get called out on it, they have the "plausible deniability" of them not necessarily saying it, it was their fans. Meg is one of the Star Wars RUclipsrs I still think is civil. Generation Tech and Eckhart's Ladder would be the other two (as well as Geetly but he just deals with lore so it's a lot easier to be civil in that regards haha). They could all do better of course, they are only human after all. But at least I can still see their channels as releasing content for the Love of Star Wars and not simply "If I'm angry about X then I'll get a lot of views!" Keep up the good work Meg. Strive to improve but, in the end, keep loving Star Wars
@@RobertHinchey I agree about Generation Tech (my favorite) and Eck... Nobody understands the workings of the SW universe like GT. SW Meg is good, (all except for being a lemming during the Acolyte drama). If she does it again though, I'm through with her too.
They need a Luke animated series, I’m sure Hamill would voice, takes place after RotJ, him searching for lost Jedi temples, artifacts and taking on the Empire remnants. Can have all the original cast since it’s animated Go to the old republic in live action with Revan (Keanu Reeves) as main character , copy the KOTR mmo trailers, epic fights with many Jedi and Sith But stop pushing agendas and stop making ONLY POC and women be the hero’s, i don’t mind well written characters and anyone can be cool but knowing Disney they would make Revan a transgender minority female…
Star wars needs to incorporate more legends material to save face. They need to bring the big 3 back during the mandoverse. Preferably cgi instead of recasting. Use Billie Lourde as the leia model idc. Want to see more han n chewy n Lando. Also would love to see Keanu Reaves as Revan in a solo film. Maybe even do a Solo 2 movie working for Jabba or something. Lando still has to make its way to the big screen.
I think Disney needs to get out of politics. Get out of sending messages. They need separate the functions of writers and directors... meaning the model of having the director write the script. It rarely works.... very rarely. There were dozens upon dozens of legacy books written that had good stories. Find one of them, and adapt it. Tell a story about a good guy trying to solve a problem, save the day, save the world. That's what they need to do. Movie goers want to root for the good guy. They may be intellectually interested in a bad guy's story, but they will find themselves emotionally invested in the good guy and his (or her) adventure. People who liked the prequel trilogy, may have liked Anakin, and were interested in his fall to Darth Vader, but they *loved* Obi-Wan and his quest to prevent it. They were heart-broken when Obi-Wan defeated Vader........ "We were like brothers...." They were emotionally invested in his plight and failure. Stop blurring the lines between good and bad.. not in a movie. People go to movies to escape the greys and ambiguities of real life. Tell a good ol' good guy versus bad guy story.
I'll say it again Billie Lourd should play Leia in the Mandoverse.

What I want to see is Kathleen Kennedy fired with the Sequel Trilogy & The Acolyte completely dropped from official canon. That is about the only thing that could win me back.
Keep doing what you're doing, Meg. Don't get sour. The haters will get over it or end their journey in this world mad. 🙂
Most reporters follow the rule “any news worthy item must be confirmed by two credible sources”
Maybe a long time ago
I think they need to continue exploring the Mandoverse era…recast Luke, Leia etc to have them more present. People say that it shrinks the world including the movie characters…I have a bunch of books (no longer canon) that say telling more of their stories is a good idea. Get the popularity of the franchise back…get people looking forward to releases again, then expand. But above all, get some good writers, have Dave or whoever keep track of the lore and oversee timelines and events to keep it coherent and remove contradictions. Oh, and not every character has to be the most powerful Jedi.
Cara dune was such great character , Gina Carano did an amazing job
Let's give Omega a series. So many connections
Oh yes, definitely want more of her story!!!
Politics are very stupid, aligning with left or right is silly, you judge people by their character, not their political stance
To be fair, Carano is an absolute piece of shit and probably would've been dropped for being a nightmare to work with anyways, brain damage from MMA notwithstanding.

She was warned for 5 months to back off the crazy talk and she refused. Disney is a private company with their own rules and she broke them and wouldn't stop after repeated warnings. That's on her.

As for the Rey movie, it's good they're taking their tine
with this (if it ever happens?).

I would love an animated star wars anthology where they just adapt the eu comics

Disney's aimless Lucasfilm production paradigm reinforces the meme:
Phase 1 - Buy Lucasfilm
Phase 2 - ?
Phase 3 - Profit
"Birth of the Dark Saber - A Star Wars Story" during the era of Tarre Vizsla.
No CGI princess Leia!
Hire Millie Bobby Brown for the role.
I agree. I’m ready to see these characters recast

Shortcomings of the sequel trilogy, such as?

Well, they do hang on to some things. I think it's awesome they've got some surprises still.
More true than most fans can possibly imagine.
I think an Animated Clone uprising show would be awesome. Even though we already know how it'd end it'd still be good
I would love to see another animated series.
Agree 💯 %!! 👍 👆👆👆👏👏
I’d like to see a maybe 3 movie telling of the KOTOR story. Or for them to go way back and create new characters that way - I’d like to see early Jedi/sith vibroblades/proto-sabers. Without breaking anything lore/story wise down the road.
No. KOTOR should not be a movie, it loses half it's lustre and storytelling that way.
Saber Interactive I'm trusting to get it done.
Only KOTOR would bring back audiences to the big screen. Needs to be a trilogy and WELL WRITTEN too
Only live-action for the films & all animation for the Disney+ series.
It's crazy how even someone as neutral and supporting of SW a you are now getting attacked. B
I’d really like an animated series that follows the original cast directly after return of the Jedi up to the force awakens.
Have you checked out the comics and novels that follow the OT characters during that time?
@@mattrismatt yes some but would really like a series to watch. The only way to do it is animation unless they recast the roles.
Still praying for an Old Republic verse. 🙏
Keep Up what you’re doing and don’t listen to people who are jealous of you. You know what is right so ignore people who are not happy for You 🙏🏽💙💙🌞💓
I want Old Republic era armies of Sith vs Jedi in live action!
Canceled my sub last night when I saw the price increase. Not worth it. I’m not going to be eternal renter.
Unfortunately misinformation is the trash happening everywhere.😮
Does KK know that we the movie goers need to see Pedro P.’s face? This will be a huge hit if we can his face.
D+ has MORE than enough Mary Sue's. Rey Palpatine should be retired...
Where did you get the idea that 'Star Wars is for kids'?
@@mattrismatt George literally said it was for kids first buddy, the primary audience is 12 year olds.

I prefer the more traditional animation styles to the Clone Wars or Bad Batch style of animation. The Jedi ronin story, I felt, was one of the best in style and story.
You get em Meg!!
1ST job publicly sack kathnleen kennady
I didn't think she was fired but was giving a job in Republic special forces
If I were the president of Disney I would...... probably make a bigger mess of Star Wars than what has already be done, so I'm just going to keep doing what I know how to do. I am not perfect, and I do not expect others to be. I do want the Star Wars story-telling to continue after George Lucas dies. So I'm getting what I want here. There is room for improvement, so I will keep telling Disney that, but in a nice way.

But at least I can still see their channels as releasing content for the Love of Star Wars and not simply "If I'm angry about X then I'll get a lot of views!"
Keep up the good work Meg.

Go to the old republic in live action with Revan (Keanu Reeves) as main character , copy the KOTR mmo trailers, epic fights with many Jedi and Sith
But stop pushing agendas and stop making ONLY POC and women be the hero’s, i don’t mind well written characters and anyone can be cool but knowing Disney they would make Revan a transgender minority female…
Just set the next story 50000 years in the future. And make it Dark and funny. That's it. Episode 5 50000 years in the future. that's what I want.
Star Wars died when they Destroyed Luke. It was over and nome there is no more Hope.
It'll be cancelled. It's what KK does, over promise and under deliver. Hopefully its intentional introspection into their strategy
