It’s easier and more economical to buy Dollarstore drawstring satchel bags, which come in packages of 3 or 4 and you can buy a big jug of Epsom salts from Walmart, then use essential oils of choice to scent the salts. Just be sure to tumble the salts as you add in the oil so you don’t over saturate it. You have more scent choices and can control the strength this way. Or if you’re not into that, you can also fill the bags with Downy laundry scent crystals. They’ve got a great selection of fragrances and last forever! You can also hang these bags in your closet on hangers or in your car. They do make an essential oil that has a “new car” scent, if you prefer that sort of thing.

Hi, you can use sew tape that irons well. I also used rice and essential oils. The smell from the epsom doesn't last very long.

how long does the smell last for with the salt? I'm thinking about making these for my scentsy buddy... instead of paying 14$ for just one
