A lovely part of the Country to ride in, and glad to see you're still riding your Triumph. It's just turned spring here in the UK and I've ridden all through the winter, but looking forward to less mud as it gets drier and warmer.
It's a good thing you spent time adding safety wire to that bike. For a while, I was convinced that anytime anyone, anywhere said the word triumph, a part would fall off a Bonneville somewhere.
Bitchen! That thing is perfectly authentic, pre-unit no less! Dig the patina, too. Picked up a couple of really beat, unit 650 sleds a number of years ago and built a 750 street tracker out of 'em. Rode my Daytona in the dez quite a bit, the lighter weight makes the 500 less of a handful.... My dream sled would be a Rickman 500. Either that or stock 500 with CZ forks and wheels. Keep the vids coming!
Love the sound of a 40 incher with straight pipes. Which is how they should be. So how are you pulling this off in the forest? That old non unit sounds good echoing through the trees.
Hi there love your videos! I am in the UK and this is literally my dream! Im gonna come see you one day soon and ride that trail with you on a vintage bike if the offer is there?! Im into old Huskies and I have a 71 400 Cross and a 73 Elsinore 250 here in the UK! Keep up the great work!!!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words, and I’m so pleased to hear that you love the videos! Come on over and let me know when you’re gonna be here. I’ll gladly take you on a ride! Bill@wheelhousegarage.co is my email address
That Triumph is so cool. I aspire to do the same but on my Montesa Cota 248 that you were partly responsible for inspiring me to buy. Now I have my bike road legal I now need to get my bike licence so I can go green lane riding as well as still trials riding at the club site. There is no where in the U.K where you can ride like that with out someone complaining or being arrested and your bike taken from you.
The best part was listening to those petrified forks bottoming and topping out. 🤣🤣🤣 Come ride here in Truckee. Our Forest Service roads are smoother and faster..
What great trail to blast a long Bill, The Triumph is running like a swiss watch , Prefect , KIWI
Excellent, glad you had all the bike parts in the rucksack for the ride home 😂
🤣

Right on!
Awesome! Really enjoying these triumph videos! Definitely motivates me to get my old bike running and start hitting some trails
Great to hear! That’s a big part of why I make these videos👍
An epic episode! Great job!
Thanks for watching! I had a great time filming it.
That triumph is a badass bike , love it.

Just discovered your channel and I dig it. Originally I thought that was a thumper until I saw the second exhaust, but man, what a sound!
So glad you’re here! It’s a 650 twin 👍👍
Rad Ride!!!!
Thanks Jared!
Brilliant mate.

Thanks for the encouragement!
That Triumph is Awesome!! The sound! The look, the fact that you rode it up a mountain and it didn't miss a beat!! I Love that Bike!!
Thanks for watching!
That place is Rad!
Pre-unit Triumphs are the sexiest engine/ gearbox combo ever.
Agreed!
Looks like a blast!!!!
Another rad video! Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels.
This channel & two others are in my top three!
Wow, thanks!

Excellent video! I wish we had those trails in Illinois!

It's the best sound! I do have spark arrestor screens in there and for know I'm sticking to OHV trails.
That bike is so bad ass , I love it man. I hope you get the forks fixed , it really sucks having no dampening. Great ride great video.

Thank you Bill you are a Legend! @@wheelhousegarage
Nice bike man. Looks like fun.
Thank you! It’s super fun!
That bike is beautiful man! The kind of thing Steve McQueen used to ride! Get those seals replaced!
That's the plan!
Oh yeah. I think this ride is probably more fun with your bike than a modern enduro bike. Kudos!
Definitely!
Where’s your spark arrestor, isn’t it required for OR vehicles?
I’ve got USFS approved screens in there👍

Stoked for you and your Cota!
That looks fun! It might be a little more enjoyable with working forks but the engine sounds great.
I think so too!
And here I was thinking I was smart putting in 50W.
Haha!
Question? Forest ride no spark baffles
Got some USFS cone screens welded in there 👍

Haha! Would love to ride Tahoe!
