Happy to discover them now, better late than never! Iron and wine, Mumford, Phantom, and a few other really awesome acoustic groups that have claws on my heart led me here. After this, I'm sailing on a digital boat to a band that Head & Heart lead me to. Happy days.
Randomly bought this album at Target when it first came out purely based on the album cover. Went home and let it play while I burned it on my computer so I could put it on my iPod. I remember finding this song just so perfect to end the album with.
saw these guy's last year in Des Moines Ia... By accident... And now I listen to this whole album damn near every day... Thank you for your beautiful music. Thank you, thank you , thank you!
I have the cd, so ya. Here ya go, enjoy!! Guys, what are we doin? We can't live this way forever We've gotta make ourselves some money, or be thrown out with the bathwater My sister and my brother look to me for answers And our fathers and our mothers wanna know they raised us right Is it that the good life is the simple one (sittin in the lawn watching the leaves go by) Readin good books and playing songs Watchin the wind blow through your front yard Don't follow your head, follow your heart
And while you're sittin all alone in your room on your bed and your windows are open, but you won't go out, no. Ah heaven go easy on me. It's damn good to have met you. I hope that you stay. We're well on our way. (All these things are rushin be me) All things must end darlin. Heaven go easy on me.
@MrLooopen i wouldnt call this band mediocre, i agree that there are plenty musical greats out there to experience, but its the occasional little gems like this band that can really make music special.
@SavageBoy131 it's like 3 chords, work them out by ear and don't be lazy, i'll start you off: capo 4th fret and you play F, (though technically it's A), then to C, (or E). now run off and finish the rest
(in an old man voice) if these kids got out of that darn tree and got jobs they would be on there way!! (just a joke please laugh and don't yell at me im sensitive) No but for real i love this :)
@Thebandgeekontv That sounds pretty depressing to me. There are oceans of music out there. This stuffs pretty mediocre to the wealth of music knocking about these days.
I don't remember how i found these guys but im glad i did
Remember when Best Buy would sell new up and coming bands’ C-D’s? That’s how I found them. Miss those days picking up random albums with my boyfriend.

Loved this song for a long time, forgot about it, then heard a girl in my school parking lot listening to it. I'm so glad I did!
