I heard the song on the awesome Seattle Podcast, TBTL. I HIGHLY recommend checking it out, they often play similarly great songs. It's a great way to discover new music and hear fun conversation.

Best song of their set when I saw them last summer! There was definitely a moment when the entire audience felt like a unified entity, including the 4 crazies that climbed in the trees by the stage.

What an unscratchy sounding song. Love it.
This is a warm uplifting embrace that just tore me away from the depression of the movie Requiem for a Dream and i only saw the trailer. It's a f-ing crazy movie. Don't look it up, it's just playing weird and if you get what it's about and try to grasp what it's getting at, it's super worse, it's sad, it's weird, it's scary. Trust me, stay on this side of youtube, stay on this side of life.

I'm a musician, so I have a good pair of headphones and studio monitors. The audio is too high in the mid-range so you hear a "scratchiness". I also have a Rhapsody account and the song plays fine there. I bet most people who argue that the sound is fine, have terrible audio equipment such as just straight laptop speakers. Otherwise, why would there be a good handful of people saying the sound is bad. Think about it....

You know what's a great way to hear the song at full quality? Actually pay for the cd.
David Tuttle David is speaking truth. Show your favorite artists/musicians that you want them to continue by giving them a valuable tool to do so - sales and money . Some may continue regardless but this helps them not starve

Numbering the people from left to right, the 3rd person looks like my former pastor, and the 5th person looks like Patrick Castles (probably spelled that wrong) from Hardly Working. Lol
I never complained. I said that I have a Rhapsody account; meaning, I can hear a cleaner version any time. The goal of my comment was to only state a factual truth. I had no motive to complain. The songs were already on my laptop and iPod and if I'm away from both, i have rhapsody.

I have to agree with him though, I definitely here an irritating scratchy noise throughout the entire song as well.

@Maci0012 I did not intend to sound pretentious. The information I wrote was to insure anyone who is debating the fact that the sound is bad. I tried to write it in a way to end all arguments with good evidence. I don't want to say that your response is antagonistic, but I HEAVILY believe it. Stop persuading people to believe that the audio is fine. Even iPod earphones can detect the corrupted audio file.

@Maci0012 It was a bit pretentious, but he has a point... but I have low-ish end speakers ($50 2.1 channel I got at Radioshack) and I can hear the 'scratchiness' too.

That was an ignorant statement. Just because someone is hearing a flaw in the recording, doesn't mean they hate the song. This guy obviously likes this song because he said he has it on his laptop, ipod and rhapsody. That also shows that he's not complaining about the flawed audio (since he has good versions), he's just telling people how it is. You should use better deductive reasoning next time, before you speak.

No, I hear it too, its really annoying. I've been trying to find an album quality version of each, but a lot of them have this problem. It annoys me to the point I can't listen to them.
