I am amazed at how much the West is aware of our Vedic knowledge,be it yoga, ayurveda, meditation, Sanskrit etc.On the contrary our Govts are trying their best to keep this knowledge away from we Indians.A sad reality that Maharshi Mahesh himself felt that until the West does not understand and value our knowledge we Indians will not value it.

It is more about how human body can heal itself. Herbs come on a later stage of diseases etc. Indeed, it is a science of consciousness.

I am very sorry to say that our indian minds have been programmed to receive our ancient wisdom better through a westerner. Is it because the way we were taught in schools? When did we lose our pride? Quite early in life?

The answers is: You lost your pride because , it appears, you never bothered to read the Bhagavad Gita.....it's still not too late, please read the Gita....it's transcendental , because it was spoken by Lord Krishna, the Supreme Lord. Hence , the contents of the Gita are situated on a spiritual platform. The Gita is the literary incarnation of Lord Krishna.....its spiritual potency is as powerful as Lord Krishna, provided you read it daily with a focused mind , reverance & faith in God....it doesn't matter if your faith in God is weak in the beginning. Krishna is pure...His body is pure & spiritual & His mind, senses , intelligence , heart are also pure & spiritual. Because his body is spiritual, whatever He speaks & all his actions ( including the sound of the music emanating from His flute ) are spiritual and therefore they transcend ( situated above ) the material nature . Therefore, when you read the Gita daily, because each & every word of the slokas He recited is spiritual, gradually, your bodily ( material) consciousness weakens and you begin to develop spiritual ( God,) consciousness. If you continue with this practice over a longer period of time, realisation dawns upon you that you are not this physical body..rather ,you are an eternal spirit soul ( jiv atma) residing in your heart and part & parcel of the eternal Super soul ( Sri Krishna),who is also residing in your heart as Paramatma.... In this state of spiritual consciousness, you experience enduring peace happiness & pure love of Paramatma ( Krishna). The practice of reading the Gita with a focused mind purifies your ( material) senses,mind intelligence, heart, body.....gradually , your ( jiv atma's) enjoyment of material sense objects weakens & attachment to Paramatma becomes stronger because you experience enduring peace,happiness & pure love of God residing in your heart..... With such an enduring relationship with Krishna, your bad habits ( eg smoking, alcohol, fast food , anger, envy, impatience, arrogance, etc) are automatically discarded, including fear, because Krishna has taken charge of your body, mind senses etc. and directs you towards a righteous path and encourages to examine what the REAL PURPOSE of life is and why we are in this material world full of misery & suffering. That is the potency of the Bhagavad Gita spoken by Lord Krishna by 5000 yrs ago on the Kurukshetra battlefield ( near Delhi) to his devotee Arjuna . Meditation leads to Ayurveda which leads to perfect health which leads to intuition which leads bliss which leads to moksha. Applaud Shri RM in picking up gems in west and giving it back to its origin; Hindus. Mahesh Yogi, Ramachandra, ( Raja yoga ) Aurobindo , sage Agastya all came from north India and practiced in South Indian peninsula. I am very sorry to say that our indian minds have been programmed to receive our ancient wisdom better through a westerner. Is it because the way we were taught in schools? When did we lose our pride? Quite early in life?

The answers is:
You lost your pride
because , it appears, you never bothered to read the Bhagavad Gita.....it's still not too late, please read the Gita....it's transcendental , because it was spoken by Lord Krishna, the Supreme Lord.
Hence , the contents of the Gita are situated on a spiritual platform.
The Gita is the literary incarnation of Lord Krishna.....its spiritual potency is as powerful as Lord Krishna, provided you read it daily with a focused mind , reverance & faith in God....it doesn't matter if your faith in God is weak in the beginning.
Krishna is pure...His body is pure & spiritual & His mind, senses , intelligence , heart are also pure & spiritual. Because his body is spiritual, whatever He speaks & all his actions
( including the sound of the music emanating from His flute ) are spiritual and therefore they transcend ( situated above ) the material nature .
Therefore, when you read the Gita daily, because each & every word of the slokas He recited is spiritual, gradually, your bodily ( material) consciousness weakens and you begin to develop spiritual ( God,) consciousness.
If you continue with this practice over a longer period of time, realisation dawns upon you that you are not this physical body..rather ,you are an eternal spirit soul ( jiv atma) residing in your heart and part & parcel of the eternal Super soul ( Sri Krishna),who is also residing in your heart as Paramatma....
In this state of spiritual consciousness, you experience enduring peace happiness & pure love of Paramatma ( Krishna).
The practice of reading the Gita with a focused mind purifies your ( material) senses,mind intelligence, heart, body.....gradually , your ( jiv atma's) enjoyment of material sense objects weakens & attachment to Paramatma becomes stronger because you experience enduring peace,happiness & pure love of God residing in your heart.....
With such an enduring relationship with Krishna, your bad habits ( eg smoking, alcohol, fast food , anger, envy, impatience, arrogance, etc)
are automatically discarded, including fear, because Krishna has taken charge of your body, mind senses etc. and directs you towards a righteous path and encourages to examine what the REAL PURPOSE of life is and why we are in this material world full of misery & suffering.
That is the potency of the Bhagavad Gita spoken by Lord Krishna by 5000 yrs ago on the Kurukshetra battlefield ( near Delhi) to
his devotee Arjuna .
I can tell you from my own experience and also of many others, that daily reading of the Bhagavad Gita As It Is for one hour, with sharp concentration, will bring back your self esteem and your pride
in our unrivalled Vedic spiritual culture of India and also expand your intelligence , sharpen your memory & most importantly, Paramatma
( Krishna) from within will motivate you to cultivate good habits & discard harmful lifestyle
The Bhagavad Gita deals with five topics:
God(Bhagavan), Jiv atma
(individual soul) , Karma
(action), Material Nature and Time
The process I've described above is stated as Bhakti Yoga ( Devotional Service to God Krishna with form ) as opposed to engaging in meditation when mind is focused on formless God
( Brahman, the impersonal form of God such as Om.)
This worship( meditation) of the formless God is described in the Gita as Jnana Yoga. The third type of worship dealt with in the Gita is Karma Yoga.
In the Bhakti Yoga process, the same result ( Krishna
Consciousness) can be achieved by chanting the Hare Krishna mantra...it is stated that repeatedly chanting the name of Krishna is as potent as reading the Bhagavad Gita
This chanting of Hare Krishna mantra is also Bhakti Yoga, because you are worshipping the personal
( spiritual bodily) form of Krishna. The Bhakti Yoga process is the easiest of the three process to follow, as Lord Krishna Himself confirms in the Gita.

Fyi Maharishi mahesh yogi ji has opened many school across India and world and I'm proud to be part of that institution. I still remember the day he died few years ago. He was wraped in silvery sheet. There was so much crowd there.
I'd thank his teachings that taught yoga, vedic science and ayurveda. Meditation was a part of our curriculum. Its beautiful ❤️

Go and search in RUclips "vaidic physics" By acharya agnivrat he is giving a new theory of universe and he said he will re -establish vedas in the world. As before it was in the mahabharata times. Actually vedas is a cosmological and universal text.
