I'm ready to start wearing my summer fragrances, but we have had a cool spring-into-summer, going down into the mid 40's tonight here in the N. GA mountains. That's coffee/vanilla/caramel fragrance weather, good grief. I'm sure it will level out soon, though and we'll be wishing for cooler days again. I just got my semi annual sale B&BW box today, trying to coordinate those body creams with fragrances for summer. I love my salty vanillas, but one of the finds was Iced Lemon Pound Cake scent in body cream and shower gel form, sounded so summery, I couldn't pass it up. Have a great weekend, Chris!

Great selection! I just discovered "You or Someone Like You" and it is just the most perfect summer fragrance The dry down is beautiful. The funny thing is, I don't really like the taste of mint. On the first really hot day, I will be wearing her!
I agree completely!! I love that dry down (but I pretty much love mint in everything….gum, food, lotions….)😆
I like that one too! Saint Julep from Imaginary Authors is in a similar vein, and they sell a body oil in the scent as well if you're looking for a good base for these lighter type minty freshies.
I'm also fond of this one! I find that it lasts a long time for a summer fragrance, especially if sprayed on clothes. I've gotten compliments 5-6 hours after applying it, and I'm definitely an undersprayer!

I have both the essence and the edp, they are quite similar, the essence is a bit more airy, goes well in the summer in my opinion. Both resemble Love dont be shy from Kilian.

In Southern California it's barely broke 70 degreees the last 3 weeks.. and most of these days were very cloudy and grey. We don't really warm up until the beggining of July.. but we stay warm until mid October, so we start late and end late. 🏖🏝🌅

I just received Mediterreneo from VGO; thank you for such a light fresh fragrance recommendation. Reminds me of an Arnold Palmer and is impossible to over spray because of the dry aspect of the tea and photorealistic lemon. Last comment, I have just recently been getting into vanillas! Yes, I I used to hate the scent of vanilla. But as I approached my 50s it has become a love exclamation you have turned me on to a couple, divine bunny at the moment is a huge love! I also bought the gnu black opium Le Parfum! That one is so beautiful for the cool fall and winter days, so yummy, also I was so lucky with YSL 25 discount! Yay

Talking about budgets and perfumes. I was traveling in the train and smart looking lady was wearing just amazing and classic perfume. Finally I asked. Usually, I am too shy to do so. She told me that she was wearing Loulou Cacharel. I dropped my jaw. It was just divine as I was sure she was wearing something very expensive. It's not about price, it's about grace that you are wearing perfumes on.

This has inspired me to take another look at one of my favorite perfumes: Brittany Breeze by Lubin. I tend to wear this in the autumn. But, considering the notes and how it invokes a herbal wind and sea spray, along with a saltiness, I think it would do very well on hot days. Otherwise, I can relay on my old standbys -- ck One and Acqua di Gio. (I remembered having a decant of Mediterraneo but when I looked for it, I discovered it was empty. Boo-hoo..)

@@ThePerfumeNest I have only used men’s , I think it is suitable for women too. I play golf in 40-45 degc heat with very humid conditions on the coast and it lasts for 8 hours in these conditions.
