  • I put the cart before the horse and intentionally unbalance my engine while creating custom piston domes for the EZ 302 Chevrolet Project Engine! Now it could Blow Up, I lose My Shop, House, anything of value.... It's a snowball of a S#!t Show where (You) the viewer know how to do it cheaper, easier, and better and I'm crap... Just like every other automotive show on RUclips!

      It’s going on the start stand within a few days. Then once I have it running correctly, I’ll book the dyno.

    Good video Dallas. Not its going me thinking on my builds

    Notch the pistons let it fly at least .060 clearance in that spot to allow for piston rock .

    I think thst Vortech square bump is for aiming Direct Wet Fuel Flow Dallas. You somewhat did the Fire Slot Chevy domed Old TRW pistons modifications.

      Thanks for watching B&R! I think you are right, it’s something to do with promoting swirl or mixing. I just got lucky on the mod.

    Did you take into account the piston rocking in the bore?

  • @stevenbelue5496

    Did you measure the stroke and verify it was 3.???"(was it 3.100"?) and not 3.000"?

    • @mr.roddersneighborhood2740
      @mr.roddersneighborhood2740  День назад +2

      I verified the stroke is 3.00” making this engine a total of 310 cubes since it’s .060 over.

      I think people were confusing the L99 stroke with the oddball 262 SBC, 3.100 in stroke.

      You are right, I know it will but the rest of the world that watches RUclips seems to disagree with everything I do, so I preemptively threw the reverse psychology out there! LOL!

    You didn't even consider indexing the plugs?

    • @mr.roddersneighborhood2740
      @mr.roddersneighborhood2740  День назад +2

      That was something considered, but I do not believe it’s needed. As the plugs will fit in there just fine.
