Entenmann's are sold in NY everywhere, these chocolate chip cookies are amazing! I am glad you could review them! Fun fact, the famous singer Madison Beer has a yt vid of her fav snacks, and these cookies are one of them. I'm gonna try the black and white, i always see them, but don't grab!

I know exactly what you mean when you say soft batch has a weird taste. It's really hard to find a mass-produced softer cookie that doesn't have that chemical taste to it. Famous Amos used to be absolutely amazing and they too suffered the mass production aftertaste syndrome. But I'm glad to hear it's at least muted somewhat in the entenmann's cookies. Neither of these two products are available in my part of Ohio but I will keep looking especially for the black and white variety. Starting to feel like the only place you can get those is in New York or Florida lol

That’s why I don’t like chips ahoy. They have a weird aftertaste.
I think those Grandma’s cookies have the weird taste too! You’d think, by now, more companies would be figuring out how to make them without the weird taste…

My eldest son absolutely loved the Entenmann’s Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies when he was younger. They were his favorite!

You are 100% about chips ahoy chewy cookies being delicious in the 1980s… they are not good now… truly, these are no where near as they were years ago… same for some of their other products… these chocolate chip cookies go on sale buy one get two free quite often at one of my local grocery stores… they used to have an oatmeal raisin version that was really really good… my favorite entenmans product (now discontinued) was their ultimate crumb cake… glad you found these and got to try them!!!

Try the Pillsbury mini chocolate chip cookies (not the regular size). They remind me of what Chips Ahoy chewy used to taste like!

The black n white are a favorite and buy them when they’re on sale. Haven’t had the other cookies. Glad you like them.

How did I miss this review until today? Anywho, been craving those chocolate chip cookies since Christina Applegate ate them on "Dead to Me" on Netflix. Apparently they aren't sold in my area. Too bad they aren't great. I have found that the best soft baked chocolate chip cookies now are the Pepperidge Farm Milk Chocolate Montauk cookies or the Pillsbury mini chocolate chip cookies (NOT the Pillsbury regular size- totally different recipe for some odd reason)!

Even when they first came out, when the quality was there, Entenmann's has never been my favorite baker. They've discontinued all my favorites, so I haven't bought Entenmann's in at least 6 years now. I love Black & White cookies, but I get them from Meijer as well as a local bakery. We've had the cookies here for years and we do have the B&W cookies at a few stores.

Never had a black and white cookie. These sound like they would be a good first one to try.
You have to be picky where you buy them because we have had some nasty ones.
My mom used to buy the chocolate chip cookies sometimes (Freihofer's brand too). They used to taste better in the past; they didn't have that processed "soft-batch" flavor when I was little.
I've never tried their black and white cookies though. I'm not too huge on them either since they're cakey.
Honestly all of the premade ones I've had are just "ok". They're something you just have to get made fresh.
I made some at home once (they're my oldest sister's favorite) and they were so much better.
I’m sure fresh is much better.

Wow I remember eating them in college. I'm shocked that they have really gone up in price. I still see them at my Publix and Kroger as well as Walmart. Usually Publix and Kroger will have them as BOGO. In college I would add crunchy peanut butter and make a cookie sandwich. Sometimes microwave it a few seconds. I'll have to look for them again. Thank you for the video

On the fence with these. The chocolate chip is the one that appeals most but I’d rather opt for a milk chocolate digestive, as that’s my favourite biscuit. Thanks for the review.

They flew Delta! Lol! I prefer a softer cookie, but these are not the 80’s cookies. I haven’t seen these yet, but the Black and White is my choice. I just wish you could get two for those calories. Great review.
