      Si esta bien aunque se ven las estrellas mucho mejor con el NVG10. La lente no tiene la aberración que la de NVG30 si tiene. El mayor campo de visión tiene su desventaje.

    could be a drone,nice compare between two digital nods,the nvg10 i see they are great for stargaze but have too much delay and the zoom incorporate hope someone hack and enhance that bad features,the nvg30 its more expensive but have decent quality some people say have the quality of a gen2 tube what do you think? cheers man.

      Grejgutten offers wide angle lens adapters that you can screw right on the NVG10 and gives over 70 degrees FOV;

      The issue I have with the NVG30 is lens abberation. Stars get stretched out and appear deformed. I hope they can soon offer a solution for this too.

    What do you think it could have been? Is there an airstrip around that location?

      The nearest airport is 40 miles away but in the exact opposite direction. It looked more like an orb to me though.

    I just got an NVG30. It kind of sucks. It works best with IR, but without, it is not much better than nothing. And what really sucks is that your eye has to be in a perfect position. Just a little too far or too close, too far right or too far left and it will just be blurry.

      I'm waiting for someone to make an adapter with a better lens so I can replace it with that.

    Looks like you got a little moon light shine

      There was no direct moonlight last night though, the sky was all covered. I needed night vision to walk to that place.

      @@starsandnightvision interesting, it looks like very extremely faint light from the moon left on the trees. Is there buildings with lights nearby?
      I noticed you had no ir in the beginning test. Interestingly over testing my NVG30 the past 17 days. It depends on the wavelength light of the visible light and color. NVG30 can’t se blue light reflecting very well or at all. It’s because of the sapphire lense. But it’s has a purpose to reduce blue light scatter and light glare.

      @@starsandnightvision it’s extremely infrared sensitive. In the visible light, true red, yellow, orange is very visible and it very sensitive to those three colors

      @@KyzoFoxPerhaps it's the reflection from a lightpole 50 meters behind me where the road is. But as you say, very faint. No buildings with lights nearby.
