Thanks for watching Todd! You make a great point. We generally include costs in our food videos, but don't go into too much detail elsewhere because costs can fluctuate so quickly. In terms of affordability in Versalles, if we look at Airbnb cost in comparison to Zona Romantica, for example, in Versalles we were paying around $35 CAD/$25 USD per night (base cost), where as in Romantica we were paying about $108 CAD/$80 USD per night (base). A significant difference. And in our opinion, the apartments were comparable in terms of space, amenities, and distance to the beach. The main difference is that being in Romantica puts you much closer to the 'action', so to speak. Hope that helps!
I second everything you said in your video. We love Versalles and that is where we usually stay. It is centrally located and so it is easy to go to other parts of the greater PV area.
