LNA, RF amplifier for HF FULL BAND with LNA Modification VER.1 VER.2 VER.3 for Quansheng UV-K5

Whether you have original VER.1 board, or newer VER.2 without audio preamp, or VER.2.1 with audio preamp, or even newer VER.2.5 with RF amp, or even the upcoming VER.3 HF FULL BAND Si4732 modification for UV-K5, we can improve things using LNA (RF amplifier) by Infineon, part number is BGA427. Best of all this is a cookie cutter approach and everyone can do it, from novice to professional, just a few parts and a few basic tools.

I'm in Russia going for ChipDip, our alternative to DigiKey, it's cheaper for me. For these sites, look for +-5% (NPO/C0G) caps.

@@codernov Any update? I installed this 2.5 board, it sounds awful, not sure if its the board or needs your sound mod above. Now I see there is a version 5.0 just like you said there would be with better coils.
