Back to the eighties, when everything had more heart to it. Rally cars were no exception. These monsters put youngsters of my age in awe with their combination of pure performance, striking aesthetics, speed and exotic racing locations, out there in the desert or in the mountains. There was a serious element of risk and dream back then. All of these "clichés" seem to have gone down the drain with the passing of time.

Quando la vedi la Stratos, quando la vedi correre e senti il suono spaventoso che produce quel motore, la sola cosa che può scatenarti è questa: PAURA. Se guardando questo video non ti ritrovi con la bocca chiusa da farti male i denti, il cuore che batte forte e una chiusa allo stomaco allo mi spiace ma le macchine non fanno al caso tuo

Io ne sono affezionato anche perchè da bambino mi regalarono un bellissimo modellino scala 1:24, quella campione del mondo con lo sponsor Alitalia, e ricordo che passavo tanto tempo a giocarci, facendo finta di essere un pilota di rally :)
