  • Over the course of evolution, millions of species have taken hold of the planet in incredible ways. But one specie has proven to be more adaptable than most: The Baboon. Able to thrive in scorched deserts, lush forests, and mountain plateaus, these animals have conquered almost every African terrain. The secret to their success: cooperation, and a code of conduct that keeps society running smoothly.
This film follows four baboon families: The Beach Troop, Mountain Band, River Troop, and Desert Troop, from the highlands of Ethiopia, down rivers in Botswana, to the southernmost beaches of South Africa. Despite vastly differnet enviormnents and challenges, they all succeed by sticking together and living by the Rules of the Troop.

I really like your channel, I am glad I found it! I just wish people would stop having babies for a couple of generations, maybe we could help the primates and other animals! Thank you for making these shows.

Nature is too complicated and interesting.
Animals are living together peacefully, war everywhere in the human controlled worlds, we are our own preys and predators. Spending billions in arms when majority have no access to simple medical needs, hunger all over, homelessness in abundance.
    What is our problem ?

What about this over crowded land. How much more abuse from man can she stand. Mercy mercy me things ain’t what they used to be. Money we make it before we see it you take it. Oh makes me wanna holla the way they do my life. This ain’t living, this ain’t living. Marvin Gaye wrote these lyrics over 50 years ago and every single syllable is truer now than they were then. The world 🌎 is doomed 😢.

Aren't any of the south Africans armed? I know if they were destroying my fruit trees and gardens, there would be baboons on the barbecue for everyone in the area. The little ones eould be nice snd tender with some Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce to add some extra flavor. The older ones would become great fertilizer.
