Being a primate conservationist, you learn to appreciate every species/subspecies and how critical they are to their ecosystem and to humans. Anyone human who thinks theyre superior, when 28% of the earth's oxygen producing greenery ceases to exist because primates arent here to naturally fertilize, you'll be begging for a baboon to cross your path. They're not pests, humans are.
Heard a story from 20yrs ago, about vintners vs baboons S. Africa - baboon troops raid vineyards, causing significant damage. Vintners put up electric fencing, enough voltage to shock but not kill, on a rolling pattern, stopping the baboon invasions until - elder baboons figure out the fencing is only randomly electric, train the juveniles to touch/test the fence before the troop goes over. If juveniles are blown backwards, time to find a different vineyard :)
