Zephyr is adorable, such a wild child! I loved when Welbeck joined in with him there at the end 😂 Such happy horses! Love how you chose his name as well; I feel rather similarly about certain kinds of birds...
Who's crying? Not me! Q: Do they usually come out with springs in their legs? Both of them are just beautiful! You look marvelous and happy too, Holly!
Congrats Holly!! So so so happy that Welback had a safe and uncomplicated delivery, and the foal is beautiful and healthy. The first few seconds when you introduced him, it is so evidently clear that he is Welback’s foal. The confidence when he approached you and him zinging around the stall - he’s going to be another special boy, guaranteed. Ohh I am so thrilled for you! :)
Absolutely beautiful...love his name...and he looks like he's really going to be big! Glad you are so happy and I know it will be a long time but I can't wait to see when you start working with him. Congratulations!!!
What a cutie!😍so happy you had a healthy foal this time. I really like his name and the story that goes with it. The girls do look great, you`re dad takes fantastic care of them.
Oh Holly I'm so happy everything turned out OK this year, I've been worrying about Welbeck too, how she was getting on, if she was OK etc. She has certainly produced a gorgeous boy though, so congratulations hun!! I was always like that with the swallows nesting in the stables too, loved to see and hear them twittering away and keeping a watchful eye out on the mares. I can imagine he will be a bit of a handful as he is growing up, he's very energetic that's for sure! Loved seeing Welbeck looking so excited to be out too playing and rearing like that bless her! Your Dad has done a fantastic job with them hun! So looking forward to following Zephy's journey with you hun. 🥰❤️
Congratulations Holly!! Zephyr is a stunning looking colt!! So full of himself already!! You're going to have your hands full with him, I think!! And he's going to be quite a big boy when he's full grown!! Love always, from a Retired Paramedic, and a S&R Dog and Handler Team Trainer and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 🇨🇦🇬🇧
He's absolutely gorgeous ❤ congrats! If you're looking for a name these two words in Ojibway come to my mind, noodin (wind) and ombaasin (lifted by the wind) . Whatever you choose I'm sure will be perfect.
Little Zephyr is a cutie ~ loved watching him practice using his legs in the field; Glad to hear that Wellbeck foaled with no problem; Congratulations to you and your family on your new cute addition
They're gorgeous! Congratulations! All of your horses are wonderfully trained with great, even characters. But Wellbeck's always been my favourite. She's regal! Zephyrus will be a great addition. His name is derived from Greek mythology and means the gentle west-wind.
He is so adorable I’m so happy for you Holly!! Fingers crossed he stays healthy and everything goes well, I’m excited to see how he goes! also your dad yelling hopper at the end of one of the clips had me your dads the best😂
Hopper is very curious about the foal but he’s not very fast if one of the horses decided to run after him so we get very stressed when he comes into the horses fields! 🙈🙈
Wiggy is doing very well, he’s actually looking really good. Starting to get his summer coat and fill out. I’ll try and get some clips of him next time I’m home. He hangs out with our yearling, Delphi, so they’re very happy together
Khal means king in Dothraki which is a language of a horse tribe in game of thrones. And Dali’s sire is Van Gogh so we went with another artist’s name ☺️
What a character your colt is ❣ Looking at Sire and Dam colours, maybe a registered name could be "Ice and Fire" after your fav blog song and Zephy his stable name love yr blog Kerri from Aus
Probably not. The plan is to breed a couple of foals from her and then let her retire at ours. She’s already shown her talent up to 1.35 level, she has nothing else to prove ☺️
Holly --- You're a vet, so you must already know this -- but the little guy hurt his left hip (or stifle -- or something in that left rear) when he slipped on the grass. It's easy to see that It took the 'steam' out of him -- and the next few jumps seem to suggest (to my eye, anyway) that he's hurting. When he realizes it's 'ouchy,' he goes for some comfort from Mommy. I noticed this the first time I viewed this video, but didn't want to say anything. Then -- in the video about his trip to the hospital -- you said something about the vets draining something from his stifle. And I have to wonder if the problem was caused only by the umbilical infection -- or if it might have something to do with that slip on the grass. Apologies for being such a busybody -- perhaps I'm out of line saying something -- but I just fell in love with the gumption in that little guy -- and was starting to feel a bit guilty about not saying anything. I hope he's going to be okay. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery. JV

Yes she was so delighted to be outside! Thank you ♥️
Zephyr is already a jumper in the making so excellent to see him dancing on his feet around his mother.

call those half stockings here in America. Love him🥰❤️😘
He’s such a fiery little man! So glad that Welbeck had a safe delivery and that he’s doing well. How are Wiggy and Dephli?
Wiggy and Delphi are great, I posted a picture of them on my Instagram a couple of days ago, I’ll try to include them in a video soon!
So inspring, seeing how far you have come, Zephyr looks so strong and pretty! And thats because you have chosen parents so well! Great job!
He is adorable, I hope you luck with the foals has turned around and he stays healthy.
I am so in love with him! He is going to be such a wonderful boy
Congratulations 🎉 nothing more beautiful then a mare and foal in a grassy field 😊

I love the story of how you chose a name for Zephyr. 🙂
How did you come up with the names for Khal and Dali?
Kahl is after Kahl drogo from game of thrones Dali is after is sure

Congrats with this beautiful colt. It's the biggest dream of every horseperson to have a foal. It's amazing. 💖
So cute! you’re going to have fun breaking this one in in a few years 😂
OMG! He is adorable!!!!
Oh man, he is like the Tiger from Winnie the Pooh, also can´t stay still for a second 😄 Such a beautiful foal 🥰

Happy Mothers Day Welbeck! What a talented little prospect she created…. I hope he gives her some rest 😂
Never mind Zephyr, more like Zebedee, bouncing about on springs 😂
He is gorgeous, well done Welbeck ❤
I love a foal
Will you ever compete/ride welbeck again

Well, if Fiona doesn't get in foal, she'll definitely be a great auntie
I think Welbeck has her hands full

Nope, a slip doesn’t cause an infection in the joint :)

How is Rocky???
Miss him so much on your channel 😅
He’s chilling in the field in australia ☺️
when the foals are gonna be 3/4 are you gonna bring them to france with the boys, to start breaking them?
Nope I’ll be in Ireland to break them in. Wiggy will be 3 next year, I’m very excited to lightly start him!
Looks like that foal needs space to run around. When is he going out to the field?
Did you watch until the end of the video? 😉

No, she’s hopefully going to go back in foal this year 🤞🏽

@@lizzyrbits1283 it's her friend, lauren, who's beginning to breed horses. She's over there in france to ride and jump horses🥰
The ground isn’t too cold, he was very happy to lie down in the grass. It’s not necessary to put him out several times a day
