I do have a question about the svl97. Did they change the cooling package to match the 75-3? One of the drawbacks to the 97-2 is that slotted rear hatch. I really like the solid door on the 75-3 with the cooling fan mounted vertically.
@@MessicksEquip With the increased aftertreatment on the higher hp machine was likely the issue. Otherwise it would be like the new t86 bobcat where the rear view is essentially non existant.

Kubota needs to drop the Grand out of the Grand L and just call it a L if they re unwilling to update it to its competitors. It’s ridiculous at this point that JD has had these options on their tractors for this long and we’re supposed to be happy with the 15 year old technology and conveniences.
@@MessicksEquip MORE HORSEPOWER, led lights, hd front axle to better handle front blower weight. electric over hydraulic 3pt hitch control, rear hitch controls and pto switch, and an air ride seat. These are just off the top of my head I’m sure there are others. I’m not a JD fan. I’ve owned 3 kubotas including a Grand L. I just think it’s time to catch up and pass the competition.
@@MessicksEquipdon’t discount this option. My current cab tractor has 3pt controls at the hitch and I would not buy a tractor without them. It amazes me Kubota does not have these. There is a nice Kubota dealer 3 miles from me but I purchase tractors 70 miles away for this feature.
Air ride seat is an available option. There is a company called Tiger Eye which makes premium LED versions of the OEM Kubota halogen work lights. They aren’t cheap, but they are an exact replica and many dealers will outfit a new tractor with them if the customer so desires. The factory L60 series headlights are actually quite good. Sometimes just because a light is LED doesn’t always make it better. Yeah, the fender mounted 3 point controls would be nice. The equivalent JD R series cab isn’t as roomy as the L60 cab. The L60 also offers features like self-canceling turn signals and really amazing cruise control; power up button for loader control without changing ground speed, a warning beep which increases in frequency as your fuel tank becomes nearly full; a DPF monitor, steps and doors on both sides, the automatic or manual H-DS system, two cabin air filters, and more. JD is lacking some of those features.
