Many days I 've doubted myself and in those times I pray and try to stop thinking about negative scenarios. I also look up other people's sucess stories because I know that they have felt the same way, yet they kept trying and achieved their goal.

If God has brought you this far, He can definitely carry you further, so my advice to you is work hard, pray harder and seek God's wisdom and guidance and no matter how long it takes you will get there if it's His will. I'm in a similar position, I'm at a new uni and in a new country (my home country - I've lived and got my BA overseas) and have just started postgrad studies and boy are they tough! Proverbs 3:5-6 trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Have a blessed week :)

Lily, I was a competitive skater and a violinist in an orchestra. Pressure was VERY high. I find the MOST important thing is you need your sleep so you can cope with the stress. You can think more clearly, more logically rather than emotionally. If I don't get my sleep I'm like the wicked witch of the west. I'm not myself and can't be my best. You can get away with some nights with not much sleep but you need it overall. Sleeping does not make you weak. It makes you stronger. It's the time your body needs to heal so your immune system and your mind is strong to do your best and feel your best. :) Hugs Melody

Is there a way you can schedule a vacation to see your family for a week? i am sure the team that lilly picked to help her is great, but sometimes i think they overwork her. The OBVIOUS thing about lilly is that she won't say no to an opportunity and tha'ts a good thing that can turn into a bad thing. Her team should give her clear days for when she has auditions so that she can work with her acting coach and unwind after the audition. And yes, i know it's not easy when you're overbooked but it's either make it work or end up breaking down in the middle of the street. Also lilly should fly back to Toronto once a month, even if it's only for the week end. She needs her family.
Lily is such a strong person. She is able to deal with her RUclips and online life as well as her acting life. Many people would have stopped or quit at this point, which shows that Lily is determined, positive, and always a BOSS!

I doubt you did as badly as you think you did! We're our own worst critic remember?? Plus think of all the positives... It all seemed negative in the moment, but look at what you accomplished. You learned awesome new acting techniques you didn't know before from your coach, you attended another audition and learned from it, and you have one of your close friends with you helping you make a video and turning your day around, and you're off to India in a few days. Stop and smell the roses :)
I love it when you were about to burst into tears, and then magically a bunch of awesome people appear to cheer you up. That was amazing. Totally God-sent :) Watching this vid my mind relates to an arabic saying, 'Man jadda wa jada', it kinda means who ever works hard for something they'll definitely get it. But then, as a believer I know it also depends on God, whether it is the right time for us to be reaping the rewards of what we have worked for, or to persevere, have patience and keep on hustling. Sometimes He makes it hard because.. even though we really like that one thing, maybe that one thing is bad for us, now or in the future, we don't know. Or sometimes, He just wants to make us work harder so that victory will taste extra sweet :) I'm 31 this year and I quit my career to look after my old mom and granny. I really want to take care of them but the change from having a career to quitting everything and just be at home and starting up a small cake business, I'm not gonna lie: it's hard. But then a few weeks back I found out about you via Yolanda Gampp's video, and after watching your videos I was inspired to NOT be demotivated by my surroundings and crappy stuff. Bad things happen sometimes, but good things happen too! Watching your videos constantly remind me to be thankful, work harder, persevere, and be nice to everyone (ALL the time :p) Dear Lilly, keep on striving for excellence and positively impacting people around the world. When I watch your videos people often ask me why I love you so much. I've struggled to find the right answer to that question. You're Funny, you're positive, and so on. I always assumed having everything memorized for auditions was a bonus, because you can spend your time looking up while you read instead of constantly looking down at the sides. *BUT GIRL!!* I am so happy you were able to pick yourself up and continue with the day. lilly i luv ya and i was fine with everything with your vlog. except. ... that you said to stop being a woman with the emotions and crying.....because its ok to be a woman and have a cry and then pick yourself up. dont stop what God made your body to process the emotions. i know you weren't thinking of all that at the time but its so important to let women be women. its ok to cry and have a time and you dont need to Man Up... That's what I lover about Lilly. She's been so stressed and needed to pause for a second to breath. Although she's stressed and stuff, she's vlogging for us and it's great! i am sure the team that lilly picked to help her is great, but sometimes i think they overwork her. The OBVIOUS thing about lilly is that she won't say no to an opportunity and tha'ts a good thing that can turn into a bad thing. Her team should give her clear days for when she has auditions so that she can work with her acting coach and unwind after the audition. And yes, i know it's not easy when you're overbooked but it's either make it work or end up breaking down in the middle of the street.
Also lilly should fly back to Toronto once a month, even if it's only for the week end. She needs her family.
Lily is such a strong person. She is able to deal with her RUclips and online life as well as her acting life. Many people would have stopped or quit at this point, which shows that Lily is determined, positive, and always a BOSS!

I doubt you did as badly as you think you did! We're our own worst critic remember?? Plus think of all the positives... It all seemed negative in the moment, but look at what you accomplished. You learned awesome new acting techniques you didn't know before from your coach, you attended another audition and learned from it, and you have one of your close friends with you helping you make a video and turning your day around, and you're off to India in a few days. Stop and smell the roses :)

Watching this vid my mind relates to an arabic saying, 'Man jadda wa jada', it kinda means who ever works hard for something they'll definitely get it. But then, as a believer I know it also depends on God, whether it is the right time for us to be reaping the rewards of what we have worked for, or to persevere, have patience and keep on hustling.
Sometimes He makes it hard because.. even though we really like that one thing, maybe that one thing is bad for us, now or in the future, we don't know. Or sometimes, He just wants to make us work harder so that victory will taste extra sweet :)
I'm 31 this year and I quit my career to look after my old mom and granny. I really want to take care of them but the change from having a career to quitting everything and just be at home and starting up a small cake business, I'm not gonna lie: it's hard. But then a few weeks back I found out about you via Yolanda Gampp's video, and after watching your videos I was inspired to NOT be demotivated by my surroundings and crappy stuff. Bad things happen sometimes, but good things happen too! Watching your videos constantly remind me to be thankful, work harder, persevere, and be nice to everyone (ALL the time :p)

I know you like doing all this stuff but I think you should take a little break, none of us will mind and a couple of days will do you loads of good and you can still catch up or just miss stuff if you need to, if you burn yourself out then you can't do anything at all so it'll be worth it
