    Thank you. 🙏🏻
I'm grateful for the beautiful simplicity of your analogies and the flavor you bring to this wisdom.
I believe it will be easier understood when I share it with my elderly parents who are still grasping so tightly as all unravels.
It is one of my greatest hopes to share with them the ability to let go of all the mental constructions and feel the beauty of presence and simply being while they are still here. ❤️

I am a process of homeostasis, allostasis and autopoesis. I have a conscious timestep of about 250 milliseconds and a spatial scale of the physical extent of my body.

      What

@@mikehev222 I am a process, not my body alone, because I cease to exist when I die, yet my body remains. I control the level of things like body temperature (homeostasis). I predict upcoming bodily needs such as blood sugar, oxygen level, heart rate (alleostasis) - experienced as excitement, fear etc. I create the components necessary for my own continued existence mentally and physically (autopoesis), like a factory that makes and integrates factory parts. To do all this I need to take account of inputs from my whole body (my physical scale is my body), decide what best to do to survive and thrive, and send the resulting actions to the whole body. That takes a finite time - between 1/10 second (fastest reflex action) and 1/4 second (fastest conscious action), depending what part of the process you are considering.

Is thus the self findable but undefinable?
