Mostly correct, Heavy Chevys had no emblem on rear deck like seen at 4:45. Have never seen one with a vinyl top. Heavy Chevy was offered with few options and a cheaper version of the Chevelle model.
They did have a Heavy Chevy emblem on right side of deck lid , but no Chevelle by Chevrolet on right side where the decal should be,that's why they put the decal on left.

This is not a REAL Heavy Chevy. I guarantee the VIN does not show it to be a Heavy Chevy. It's a base model Malibu with some performance work and added on Heavy Chevy decals.
Call Phoenix Graphics...get a WHITE or Silver set of HC decals. Lose the piston door lock knobs. Door panels lack HC wood grain trim. HELP rack at any parts store, for CLEAR knob window cranks. DYE the dash pad black. Dab Testors flat black paint onto RIVETS holding replaced window fuzzies. Epoxy the gaps, ...Leather wrap steering wheel. Glass bead clean ashtray(s).

Heavy Chevy were plain with a heavy duty suspension and truck like floor rubber mat

Heavy Chevys also did not have the "Chevelle" script on the LF grille, as well as no wheel well opening mouldings.

No carpet in a real heavy Chevy..Also,the Chevelle name plate wasn't on the trunk.

71's had white door panel trim, 72's had wood door panel trim.
