@@frostbite2179 im not sided to just one character, i became a huge fan of the whole show, the intense fictional drama, the world building, character Development, rushing through timeliness was a bit unnecessary, they could have done a two volume part with more events.. It's a show that focuses on grey characters, there's no single character who is truly pure or good, maybe the kid's of team black, idk.
@@haneefs666 Everyone can have their opinions, but I don’t think there’s a single best written character on the show yet. They’re all pretty brilliant in areas. Being the Internet’s Boyfriend certainly doesn’t mean a character is the best or anything either though. People just like bad boys, ha. Daemon is very well-written, I would agree…but we haven’t even been able to see his childhood or anything yet. I would like to see it and understand why Daemon is the way he is. Violent and unpredictable. I swear, it can’t just be because he wanted the throne at times. Once we get that, I might be able to appreciate him a bit more. I do like him…I just don’t feel that connected to his psyche yet. Plus, I know he’s Martin’s favorite, so I’m curious to see how his story was shaped. How he got to be the way that he is. Aemond’s story is pretty clear so far. He appears dualistic because of coming from a family where he was halfway loved, halfway abused. His mother loves him and he returns it. It seems he also loves his sister, and she appears comfortable around him too. His brother and father, however…well. Viserys cast aside Aemond in favor of Rhaenyra and her children after a grand injustice. So, scratch off him having a good father in his life. Aegon also bullied and caused Aemond plenty of issues it seems…especially when it came to depraved behavior. I find it interesting that Aemond was even as cooperative with Aegon as he was. But that speaks of the duality he possesses. I like him because he has both good and bad qualities. I admire his devotion to his family and his ambitions. He evidently put some effort into himself by trying to be more stable than Aegon. However, he’s also really resentful and bitter…that much is clear. He wants revenge, or some sort of harsh justice for the cruelty with which he and his mother were treated. I think over time it became less about “I lost an eye” and more about “I lost an eye and no one except my mother fought for me, and they even turned it against me because I spoke a truth in regards to my half-sister’s illegitimate children,” That’s a horrible thing to experience as a kid. Aemond had a bit of a mini power trip after claiming Vhagar, it’s true…but he at most needed to be scolded for that. Not jumped and maimed, and then threatened for speaking up about something that was literally true. That’s why I like Aemond even now. Even after he made such a grave mistake with Luke. He was wrong for taking out his anger on the boy, and for antagonizing him…but I still understood his motivation. I also am quite sad that he evidently didn’t mean to actually kill his nephew, and is now going to have to deal with the consequences of something he didn’t intend to do. That’s rough. I would like to see some kind of backstory like this for Daemon. I want both the rogues to be quite nuanced. I want to see what drives Daemon, and why he’s Martin’s favorite. I hope they elaborate on him later.
This is the MOST perfect Aemond'ss edit I've seen😍 the moment i saw kid aemond smiling and finally happy while riding vhagar i knew i would stan that man forever🤣
Aemond didn’t even want him dead, Arrax shooting fire at Vhagar really set her off and I think she’s the only claimed dragon atm in the story that has killed other dragons before and is still alive but I could be wrong there.
You have to admit, the man has glorious hair and when he walks in, you take notice
He’s one of the best written characters in the show. God, I adore him. Can’t wait to see the rest of his story.
No Vhagar nahhhh 😆😆
Best written character in the show is daemon btw, he titled as the internet s boyfriend.
@@haneefs666 i’m getting sick of you Damon fans you’re actually making me start to hate the character
