What an amazing last episode this was from House of the Dragon show. The relationship between Lucerys and Aemond has always been eye to an eye since their childhood. Because of his lust for revenge, Aemond did the worst possible thing and now let's wait and see what season 2 has in store for us.

It's the way Aemond and Lucerys prey on each others insecurities. One didn't have a dragon, the other is a bastard. All this fuelled by the adults in their lives. Amazing edit!!
Dany has warned us years ago in GOT "A dragon is not a slave" and no one can really control them. They CHOOSE to follow commands but they can also choose to ignore them.

What else did Aemond think was gonna happen when he chose to chase luke and his small, unexperienced dragon on a Century old, battle hardened, Conqueror's dragon and not to mention Queen Visenya, the original rider, committed more than a dozen war crimes. Once a dragon as old and grumpy as Vhagar is roused into battle, there's no stopping the inevitable bloodshed
S.o for the ppl who knew what was gonna happen to Lucerys, preparing themselves mentally but at last, still felt empty.
The scene was nicely done. You could feel how scared Luc was. Berathon should have given him shelter. He knew Aemond is going to kill him and felt in a way sorry so stopped it
man aemonds costume in the last episode was just spot on. looked a lot like a pirate with the eyepatch long coat and sword lol

I feel like dragons in this show is the perfect analogy for nuclear weapons in the modern world. "They are a power men should have never trifled with", and "When they go to war, everything burns".
I'm team black all the way ,but I absolutely love aemond's character, and ewan plays him Brilliantly. Aemond never meant to kill lucerys ,and now knows that there is no going back.
It's funny how one of the biggest war conflicts in Westeros started with a simple children's fight.
Well, to be fair Vhagar probably did get Lucerys' eye
Aemond didn’t mean to kill Lucerys and Arrax, but now he will pay the price.
I couldn't have thought of a more fitting way to start a war called "Dance of the Dragons"

i love how they made aemond a little more human who doesn't actually want to kill his nephew, and now will suffer the consequences. nobody prolly will believe him.
Aemond's obsession with revenge on Lucerys will be his downfall. Revenge has consumed him. He should've been focused on playing the game of thrones and getting rid of his brother so he could ascend to the throne.
