This was a very interesting story and I appreciate the way that you told it. The victim (Ron) handled it with far more humility and compassion than most would have and I hope for the best to come out of this situation.
While I cannot begin to imagine how hard life must be as a trans person, it is morally wrong not to disclose your birth gender when dating someone. Especially before things get physical. Chris victimized Ron. That was wrong and he is the true victim here. You asked for advice. My two cents would be for Ron to get therapy and to cease dating for a while.
The advice is simple
1.Leave that man
2. Let time heal your wound
3. Live in your truth
That’s wild you’re creating stress in your life for what. Just let that man go. Hit the rewind button start over and next time listen your friends.

I deleted my previous comment after hearing the whole story but , that’s shady .. deceiving someone in such a gigantic isn’t okay even if it’s emotionally reciprocated.
I feel bad for Ron, but I would move past that chapter in life as soon as possible. He showed great restraint by not acting out violently on the (man turned woman). Just imagine the levels of deception this person is capable of. They started the relationship out by using lie after lie, what good could possibly come out of that SMH. DamnDamnDamn!!!

Does he care enough about this person, or is a gender change enough to remove this source of happiness and joy in his
life? Well that depends on Ron. Does he accept her or not?And if he does then that’s ok, love her as if he never knew. Don’t treat her any different. If he is not then he will need to discuss it with her. Don’t mistreat her or come at her wrong.
if he truly love her, it wont matter because I’m his case he fell in love with the person not the gender. If it was about the gender he would have listened to his friends since the beginning and investigate. He was ready to turn his back on his friend for her. At the end of day he was not really looking for a woman. He is probably a bit old and lonely. He found himself a friend and a lover. 3 months later he is still with her still trying to process. Ron has done processing and he knows what he wants already. Ron , man to man go with your heart because you don’t need anyone approval or acceptance. Christine is a woman. She identifies as such. If she didn’t “tell” it was because she is not accepted by society in general and there is descrimination and hatred of trans people by many. Safety is also a factor. Can the gentleman in your story accept Christine and love her? Or will the embarrassment and fear hold him back? He needs to decide what is right for himself as he obviously identifies as a heterosexual male.
