One of the best things I love about my Legion Go. I basically can game or use it as a tablet after removing the controllers first on that thing. I love it!

I just bought the go yesterday. Is the battery still the same after playing it plugged for sometime? And will a power bank do the job fine on the go?

I’ve only been a PlayStation guy my whole life and I wanted to switch to PC but I don’t really want to get a big set up so this was the next best thing for me plus I like the versatility of being mobile with it. This video was really helpful. I think I’m gonna go with this one

With the latest update that allows you to map the controllers in just about any way imaginable (mouse/controller/keyboard/numpad) it is excellent. Console games were already easy, now MMOs are great and you don't even have to modify your interface to make everything run. I love this little computer...taking it along without the controllers and using it as a windows version of an ipad mini is great too.

I really love this thing. It's like a mix between the Rog ally and the steam deck. By that I mean the specs of the Ally so more powerful than the Steam deck but has the touch pad like the steam deck. Plus the bonus of detachable controllers and the bigger nicer screen.

In my region it's just become harder to look at the legion go. The current promo of a legion loq laptop with a 4050 is 100 dollars or (50usd) more expensive then the legion go. Was almost going to purchase my first pc handheld but now torn whether I should just go my first decent laptop 🤔

I always set my Legion Go fan to smart mode and barely can hear fan noise while playing heavy games like God of War 2018 and Forza Horizon 5, there's the answer you need.

Is lossless scaling worth it? I’m between an LGO and Rog Ally. I know the Ally just got afmf, so I’m wondering how lossless scaling compares

@@cefrio I think I’ve decided on the deck brother man. I would love the extra power of the LGO and battery life doesn’t really matter to me. I will however be taking it to work and being able to very quickly pick up and resume seems like almost a necessary feature for me

Evem Competitive games like enlisted, the latency is not that noticeable but super fast twitch games like cod probably not use for that
Is lossless scaling a app buy?
Just sold my SD it was so painful to do anything very lagging in emulation and those frame rate you would be very happy having 60fps sorry not for me ... i am thinking about rog ally or the legion go

I've had all of the Big 3, "Steam Deck" "ROG Ally" and "Legion Go" and I can confirm the Legion Go is the best out of all of them. Legion Go runs all the games better than the Ally And Steam Deck and the bigger screen is way better.
Same and I agree legion is actually legit and it could get better with more software improvements
My only dislike is the top of the controllers could be more ergonomic and curved by your palms. The sound isn’t quite as good as the Ally.
I have a switch and I love it but I wouldn’t get an ally or anything smaller than the legion go display, bigger displays are just better for gaming plus you can use it as a small tablet which is a plus.
FNV is my favorite game of all time. I hope you enjoy it!

It is good but opt for a 1tb option maybe just a 100-200$ diffrence but you wont have to buy storage mater on down the line

It'd have to be plugged in the entire time pretty much. Also depends on what you're using it for. Battery life is 2 ish hours
I have installed windows 10 home in my legion Go and it works nicely though I had to download the drivers individually and then installed them and then install legion space and everything works though it does give me a bit of an error for the 2 USB C thunderbolt in device manager though they do work with external HDMI with a dock and a USB C to HDMI converter and with my NReal air glasses though I don't think it would work with a thunderbolt external device made for thunderbolt, but I got to think that if I can output HDMI then in theory an external thunderbolt device might work, but then again who cares for these expensive thunderbolt devices when you can output HDMI or NReal glasses that do work in windows 10 Home in this Legion Go console.

@@adrian4565 Basically windows 10 Home works with the Legion Go and the drivers work in it as well therefor no need for windows 11 Home though if you like windows 11 Home then stick with that.
I like the ROG ALLY screen form factor better but the dpad and the less battery life as well as the sd card issues is really a deal braked. Legion go is nice but i wish it was smaller. Steamdeck does not have windows so it makes it limited. None of them have exactly what i want lol.

I am trying to decide which one to get. Leaning more toward the lenovo, I heard horrible things about issues with ASUS and repairs and the company as whole. Most of my games are on Steam, plus Valve makes good products I have a I have the VR index and its awesome.
Dual USB4 ports also makes this a great handheld to pair with AR glasses like the Rokid Max (my faves due to vision adjustments built in, 120 Hz capabilities and $250-275 price places) while also charging. AR glasses with controllers by my side in "claw grip" is my favorite way to play.

You can see he doesnt have played on any other owned a steam deck i respect valve for it what they archive now have a ally and a legion go the ally is my first pick the nice bigger screen is woth some games good but most more recent games its terrible and im missing screen features that the ally has on the legion go depending on the game i chose on wich one to play but most games on the go its the ally also speakers of the ally are centered while legions go speaker is on the top and you can clearly hear the diffrence with the legion go i eighter chose a bluetooth speaker or ear buds dont have that problem on the ally but both systems have their pros and cons due to sd card burning on the ally i have more games on the legion go just my favorite ones on the ally
I will just wait for the upcoming playstation handheld console (not talking about the portal)

I'm just not into the detachable controllers, can't take the device seriously because of that. Hated it on the Switch and same for this, more inclined to go the Ally way because of that even though I really like the screen size of the GO
If they were to do a second one I would love to see a "Pro" version with 32GB RAM, non-detachable controllers, a VRR screen, bigger battery and better speakers. Wouldn't even mind paying a higher price if these features were included. Don't even mind a 1080p screen, looks amazing on the Ally.

Haven't tried the legion but I love my steam deck.
Wow this thing is ass might as well get a laptop if it’s gotta be plugged in most of the time, gotta turn it down to 15w to get reasonable battery life and even then the performance and battery at 15w still can’t compete with the decks 15w performance. I’ll stick with the steam deck Oled until they release the steam deck 2. Sadly we are not at the point where we can balance that much power with battery life. Barely can be called a portable device

The best, not by a long shot. i like it alot but Deck Oled is first easy, windows is terrible or a handheld.

The only cool thing about the switch is that it has usb type c... its just going to end up like the nintendo ds.. it was very cool.. but.. *with it being the weakest performing handheld.. it'll get fazed out*.. you can even emulate the switch on the steam deck.. 😂😂

@fleshplushie I play plugged in most of the time so not sure, but I think the way it vents is better and sound of the fans are less annoying, the screen is way better, controls and extra buttons are better. I do think the Armory crate is better than the legion software but hopefully it'll be updated. Honestly if you switch to 720 or 1080 the scaling is pretty good. If I play Diablo 4 in qhd I get 30 fps with no scaling, in 1200p I get over 60 fps and in 800 I get 75 to 120. I think the performance is actually better but I can't really speak to battery life.
I own the Steamdeck and i can't stand it. I have to RMA mt Steamdeck 3 times and 3rd onw had to have a new motherboard , now i have another issue. The steamdeck is the worst experience and hand-held i have ever used. All the steamdeck/inux shill lie about the performances of the steamdeck .

What are talking about? You mean the the restrictions of SteamOS? For a a handled the amount of busy work just to mod your games one to play online games is a disaster. Steamdeck is great if you playing indra games and 20 year old games. That is if it works.

The two that get the best and most reviews are the Lenovo legion go and the asus rog ally and they both beat the steam deck by far cause games deck can’t play these can and on deck u have to to some mod type stuff just to get game pass and u can’t get epic games store so no Fortnite on the deck
