I’ve watched about 4 videos for this resort this weekend and you have the most detailed information. I’m seriously considering this resort for next years trip! I love the size of the pool
What an exceptional video overview of this resort! My sister and her family took our mom and her mother-in-law here a couple of years ago for a vacation and my mom was raving about it. I have never been to Cabo and it’s been well over 20 years since my husband has been and we would love to go and take our young daughter (almost 3 years old as of this comment). Maybe next year (2022) in November. We are members of a vacation club called Real Club that has Playa Resorts as the hotels for the membership. We JUST got back (2 weeks ago) from our 3rd Cancun vacation and I’m ready to start to planning our next Mexican beach vacation but want to go somewhere a bit different. Since we can go the Hyatt properties on our discount, this looks like a phenomenal place to stay. I can’t wait!!

just came back from vacation, this place was really nice and memorable, i felt sad leaving lol
I stayed here back when it was under Barcelo. I loved it then and found San Jose was such a great community. Although it is large, it doesn’t feel that way.
We also loved our time there and we LOVE San Jose.

You could wait on hold for 10 hours with Expedia if that sounds fun for you.
@@HarrTravel ok. I get that. Of all the times I booked through Expedia, I’ve never had to actually call them. So that’s not really an issue unless someone has a problem that needs to be resolved by calling Expedia.
I don’t understand how you add value? Hold times isn’t a problem for the majority. Can you actually respond with a meaningful post, I’m actually to trying book a vacation.
Hey Dan because of covid, where's a good all inclusive place for families in the states?
My favorite is Club Med Sandpiper in Florida.
How strict are they about the ages of the kids club? My son is 3.5 but could pass for 5. We’re coming in May.
They are fairly strict on the age guidelines, but you can always request an exception from the kids club.
Any idea what their current capacity is? Are all bars and restaurants open, or do they open them in rotation?
At this point, we would guess all are open but at limited capacity.
Does the resort do Covid testing for potential entrance back into the states ?
Each resort is doing things a little differently and the policies are changing constantly. Check out the resort website for the most up to date information.

So with the limitless all inclusions, can you have that 25% for multiple activities? For example, if I do an excursion I would only have to pay 25% of the cost, but do I still get that limitless inclusion with everything else?
I think you are confusing the limitless all inclusive policy at Hard Rock, which has more inflated prices on those activities to accommodate for the 25% cost (or 75% discount) Ziva does have discounted add-ons as well, but their program is more straight forward.
@@HarrTravel oh shoot, that’s my bad. You are correct, I was watching both videos on the Hyatt and Hard Rock that you did, and I’m torn on it which resort I like best.
Can kids go to the water slides without going into the kids club. We went to dreams Onyx and you could only going certain times when the kids club was open.
So all inclusive means all drinks (including alcoholic) are included in your stay?

Yes! They are included but there are also high end alcoholic drinks available but you have to pay for those..
My wife and I are thinking of booking this place for our anniversary but hesitant because I am concerned about large families with kids and it being overly noisy. Anyone that has been as a couple, would you recommend this resort?
The adults only area on the far side of the resort is really nice. That's where Taylor's wife hung out the whole time.

I would recommend Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. It’s adults only and in the same area at San Jose delCabo. My husband and I spent our anniversary there and it was great.

They do have them. We filmed very early in the AM before they were set up.

Why is the beach not swimmable?
Maybe a silly question, but why can’t you swim in the beaches in Cabo?
The tides are much too dangerous, the rip currents would have you a mile out in a matter of minutes.
The reason you can’t swim there is there is a nasty rip current and undertows. But the water looks deceptively calm..

The rip currents are too powerful in Cabo. Most resorts do not feature swimmable beaches.

The buffet is not self service, rather it is served. This is similar to what they are doing on cruise ships currently as well.
