Hello Mariana! Thank you for another great video that highlights a city in Mexico! Ughhh...I think I might be getting information overload as there are sooooo many great cities in Mexico. Originally, I was thinking that we'd favor at least a medium sized city that is not on the radar of many expats. But, this is a video that shows the benefits of a reasonably sized city that does get a fair amount of foreigners. Based on my travels on the Baja, which were all for the Baja desert races, I think I favored La Paz the most (well, I did really like the colonial buildings of Loreto too; but Loreto is a reasonably smaller town). I did stay in San Jose del Cabo on our visits. From what I recall, the ocean was pretty rough. But, that could have also been the weather patterns at that time. I think I'm favoring the mainland of Mexico, but Baja is really nice too. Both you and Brighton demonstrate some really nice Baja options. Ha...so many decisions!! Overall, we want a Centro type location that we can walk to everything. Also, we really want live music options in close proximity; as well as restaurants and food markets. And, museums and such. Safe travels!

We do have some local organic markets :) Fridays at Palmilla and Saturdays a little bit Outside of downtown San Jose. You should definitely check out Todos Santos, a cute little artsy city 1,5 hours from Cabo.

Thank you for the beautiful and informative video. I understand that Mexico's coast gets warm during the summer but wonder if there is a beach location that doesn't have high humidity to go with it. Does such a place exist?
I wish we had stopped here. We drove from Cabo San Lucas to Mexicali (actually all the way to Dallas). We’ve driven almost all of Mexico and Baja California is very different from the rest of Mexico. And a large part of our drive on the peninsula, we didn’t see a single Oxxo 😅 You won’t believe it, but we’re in São Paulo, Brazil right now and there are Oxxo’s all over the place
Most of the beaches along the hotel zone in SJD (not Cabo, they are good) are not swimmable, are there busses to the swimmable ones from them or do you need to take a taxi? Thanks

@@MexicoRelocationGuide that is true. Expensive to me would be, now this would be in regards to living in Mexico, would be renting a place $1400 - $1500 usd and up. And all in with utilities, food, entertainment, etc around $2500 usd a month.
Big problem! All beach towns in Mexico are too hot!! 8 AM, Aug. 3, - 84 degrees F! And will get hotter! Patzcuaro, in the mountains of Michoacan, a pleasant 57 degrees at 8 AM! I hate air conditioning!

With climate change a freightening reality, it is stupid to consider property any where near beaches, especially ones where the temperature will soon render many areas unlivable. If you are regularly above 90 degrees F, think what it will be like in a few more years! Maybe less! A wet bulb temperature at around 109 degrees will kill you! Today, at about noon, the temperature is already 90 degrees and feels like 108! Read em and weap!
@@j.whisper2379 These are TYPICAL mid-summer temps in my area of central VA with very high humidity levels as well. I’ve lived in these temps for my entire 60yrs of life. Not a big deal AT ALL. Stop with the phony doomsday panic crap. Perhaps you should see a Dr for your unwarranted anxiety/panic attacks. I’m looking forward to retiring on a Mexican beachfront as these temps/humidity levels will be very much like what I’ve lived in my entire life, EXCEPT with the extra added bonus of having ocean breezes which helps very much and makes it FAR MORE COMFORTABLE than our stagnant, hot, humidity in central Virginia.

I wish we had stopped here. We drove from Cabo San Lucas to Mexicali (actually all the way to Dallas). We’ve driven almost all of Mexico and Baja California is very different from the rest of Mexico. It's all about personal preference- some people love the heat :) others don't
