I'm not saying I'm a fantasy genius but I passed over Anthony Richardson in every fantasy league and had zero interest in a quarterback with "accuracy problems"
We have seen zero improvement with ar, he lost the locker room, shane had no choice. People's jobs are on the line. Zero reason to hold up a whole team over the least accurate qb in the past 20 years.
He doesn’t belong anywhere near the NFL. Hes an arrogant stooge that is completely delusional saying ridiculous things like “I’m tired”…you cant have someone that mentally ill as your leader.
You can’t compare Anthony to Bryce…Bryce young played a full nfl season to show off what he’s Capable of doing and Anthony Richardson has a more complete team around him…I say give them both until next year before benching them because either way neither team is winning anything…if they’re good let them grow…if they suck yall can tank and try again with another qb🤷🏽♂️
I think is more about he is inmature as a person and his mentality with the media between today and the postgame conference pretty much seals his benching and is more his ego talking thinking he's the best when he's not even close and also is a locker room decision so it might help the benching but now it all depends on AR to do a self evaluation and the coaches had to put him in a situation to help him and that didn't happen also.
Nobody? Trust me...many of us Colts fan have been calling him a bust since about game 3-4 this season. The preseason hype for a QB that has really done nothing at any level was unbelievable. Couldn't see the Top 5 QB so many fantasy experts were predicting, because this guy can't survive more than 4-5 games w/o getting hurt. His WRs have also come down with quite a lot of questionable balls he's thrown, so you could make that argument either way. Even if they caught those passes, he's still below 50% completion % and they've probably saved at least a handful of INTs for him making great catches on overthrown/contested balls.
@ if you are the leader of a team, you don’t do no shit like that. That’s the quickest way to lose respect from your teammates. If you ever played a team sport you’d know that . 🤦🏾♂️You put it all out there and give it your all. Besides he ain’t that good anyway 🤷🏾♂️
I don’t think this benching was about performance. Think this directly relates to quitting on the team and then telling that to the media like it’s no big deal
Cam Newton won a national championship. Why is every Qb that can run and has bad accuracy always compared to newton. He was accurate until his shoulder injury
I played high school football and if I take myself out because I’m tired. I would run laps the next day at practice and that 2a high school football. He is making millions in the NFL.
I'm a life long Colts fan. I feel like he quit on us. Tapped out. A franchise qb does NOT take breaks. It makes me question his heart and passion for the game.
Richardson was always a reach pick. He was a raw project coming out of college. Anyone surprised by his lack of development, really wasn't paying attention. That's why no one is calling him a bust, because it was the likely outcome.
No team wants to wait for a good QB anymore Too many of these “good” QBs coming out of college is that they didn’t stay anywhere for more then 2 years starting
I started this video...paused it to go out and play pool and get a beer with my pops. Came back to my desk and the title of the video was different without me refreshing haha. That's wild. Original title "This One Play Ruined His Career"
if you generous and count wide receiver drops he would still be at a sub 50% completion percentage. I have watched every colts game this year and you can see the frustration on the WRs and coaching staff. the only thing you could argue is defensively we haven't been the best but the D really has stepped up since week 3.
Yep and they traded him would rather have him Starting Colts could have got Marvin Harrison Jr and we picked a florida qb how manny of them got rings ?
Don't worry. They just don't want him to get tired 😂😂. I have been watching the nfl for a very long time and have never heard of a qb bench himself because they were tired. Benching him is probably the best thing for him. He can work on his skills and his cardio.
Woooow. You wouldn't ever think to hear "I was tired." J. Herbert has been dealing with an ankle injury all season and runs for 40yds on 1 play and took a shot at the end of it. Didn't take himself out did he?
As a Chargers fan I much appreciate the Herbert love, dude can ball and is tough despite the injuries. Hoping the second half of the season he can continue to excel. That being said though AR really is the prime of example of “looks like a QB, ain’t a QB”. There’s no denying his size and athleticism but there are a lot of people his size and are athletic, that doesn’t mean they’re NFL material. I also find it funny Joe Flacco goes to his second team in two years, starts in place of the actual starter, does a better job than them, then has the team questioning the actual starter.
I think this is more of a learning lesson for Anthony Richardson than anything to be honest like I think they want to start him. It’s just after what he said to the press they have to teach him that those are things that you should just leave out of the press. I think he will definitely start later this year or maybe next week or the following 2 to 3 weeks. Learning from a Joe Flacco that has a very similar arm strength is never a bad thing either the man needs to start training his arm since he’s not the starting quarterback he needs to start doing things for himself to get him better so when he does get called to play that he will be the better Anthony Richardson that I saw last year this year I feel like week one was the Anthony Richardson that we saw last year. These last couple of games from him has not been him. it’s like his confidence has been shattered a bit, but when he beat the dolphins his confidence kinda looked better, but I feel like he just needs to work on his accuracy since he’s now benched I think people are looking at the way we gotta look at the positive way because I’m very sure that Richardson is listening to the negatives more than the positives. I think this off-season he should definitely train with a veteran quarterback, but a lot of people don’t realize he got hurt shoulder injury he had to go through rehab this whole off-season. He hasn’t had an off-season yet.
10:56 "it was just a handoff." Don't you think they did a handoff because Flacco had no time to warmup and prep for the play/current drive? I really think you guys are making a big deal outta nothing. Another perspective you could take with this is that at least he was honest to sit out the play because he was tired and didn't jeopardize the next play.
Jordan Love is a great example of fixing his accuracy problem. Watch some of him in the first half of 2023, his best throws were frequently "general vicinity", too often worse. But his 2024 interceptions look like a backslide in 2024...
RICHARDSON NEEDS TO SIT BEHIND FLACO FOR THIS YEAR AND DEVELOP GIVE HIM 1 TO 2 YEARS BEHIND FLACO. MAYBE HE WILL BE READY START EM. ALL PRESEASON GAMES. HE NEEDS MORE TIME TO GET READY. OTHERWISE HE WILL BE A BUST IN MY OPINION. AS FAR AS BRYCE YOUNG, HE NEEDS TO GO TO A BETTER TEAM. BETTER SITUATION PERSONALLY. I HOPE HE COMES THE EAGLES BACK UP NEXT YEAR WE WILL SEE.
I'd say with his athleticism he could be a good RB or something, but he'd have to work on his conditioning. Maybe he could be a pass rusher who play plays on passing downs?

Wtf is a BQB…you just made that up.
I'm sure you would be better
When will the so called "experts" realize that physical ability is the 3rd or fourth thing that needs to be on point when selecting a QB.
Just cuz they benching him now dont mean they moving on from him.. They may just want him to sit behind Flacco and learn a bit more.
I'm not saying I'm a fantasy genius but I passed over Anthony Richardson in every fantasy league and had zero interest in a quarterback with "accuracy problems"
He was mediocre af his rookie season.
Idk why so many ppl thought he was going to make a huge leap.
Definitely made the right choice to pass on him 👍
@@7211m no doubt...he played like three games.
Same especially after I saw him in preseason his accuracy was horrible and he looked really bad so I stayed away
Noted ✅️
He's big. He's strong. He's got a cannon. He can scramble.
He's just not that great. Somehow, he hasn't figured it out yet.
We have seen zero improvement with ar, he lost the locker room, shane had no choice. People's jobs are on the line. Zero reason to hold up a whole team over the least accurate qb in the past 20 years.
From your own 30 to damn near the end zone its nuts, hope he fulfills that potential
He doesn’t belong anywhere near the NFL. Hes an arrogant stooge that is completely delusional saying ridiculous things like “I’m tired”…you cant have someone that mentally ill as your leader.
You can’t compare Anthony to Bryce…Bryce young played a full nfl season to show off what he’s Capable of doing and Anthony Richardson has a more complete team around him…I say give them both until next year before benching them because either way neither team is winning anything…if they’re good let them grow…if they suck yall can tank and try again with another qb🤷🏽♂️
he smoking that tree. only explanation
@@mckillahquin on game day?
@ i don’t think they test for weed anymore so maybe. Idk
Crazy to see a Qb take himself out
He may have lost the respect of his teammates. That’s one of the unwritten rules that you just don’t do. 🤦🏾♂️
Only other time I remember is Jay Cutler in the NFC title game against the packers.
It was just one play. Yall crazy
You’re way in the minority
I wouldve said "my ankle glitchin coach" or "i had diarrhea" 😂 anything BUT I'm tired.
Lol..right. limp off...anything. shows his IQ.
I don’t think this benching was about performance. Think this directly relates to quitting on the team and then telling that to the media like it’s no big deal
100 percent
As a colts fan, this was just the last straw for him. But the play has been so bad that it was gonna happen sooner rather than later.
"but alas" has been showing up in every video lately. Looks like Mikerophone found Chat GPT 😂
3:40 absolutely nobody said that 💀 bros just athletic and can throw as far as anyone else that’s it
Mike thinks every young QB is the next coming of Mahomes 😭 he’ll get one eventually!
Cam Newton won a national championship. Why is every Qb that can run and has bad accuracy always compared to newton. He was accurate until his shoulder injury
Difference is bills had nothing on offense and Richardson has an elite rb and good oline and wr core
Definitely not something Tua is saying...despite being one hit away from lifelong dehabilitating injury.
Nobody said Mahomes they said cam newton or the great Josh Allen
I played high school football and if I take myself out because I’m tired. I would run laps the next day at practice and that 2a high school football. He is making millions in the NFL.
Nailed it brother I Played Youth Ball Who Does that 😂
Anthony Richardson tapped out of the league with that play.
LMFAOOOOO that Patrick Mahomes scream got me dying laughing 🤣🤣
Colts saw Daniel Jones get drafted sixth overall in 2019 and said hold my beer. Because he was not good in one year starting in Florida.
Could Have got Marvin Harrison Jr
I'm a life long Colts fan. I feel like he quit on us. Tapped out. A franchise qb does NOT take breaks. It makes me question his heart and passion for the game.
100 Percent
We knew about all his stats and abilities in college. The problem is where he was taken and who decided to draft him there... fire that bafoon
You can’t teach heart and desire to win.
This has nothing to do with his play. He proved that he's not ready to be a LEADER, and Steichen was done.
The best thing the colts can do right now is fire their gm
If he is tired he can sit on the Bench and work on his game no excuses next season better be in the best shape period
They should have never started him to begin with, they should of sat him like Jordan love
I always find it hilarious the Young QBs be named captains
Hes showing tendencies of jamarcus russel
Colts just giving him the rest he need. He tired
It would be the most “colts” thing ever for him to get picked up by another team and suddenly be amazing.
As a Colts fan I don’t even see that happening, I genuinely do not think he is an NFL caliber QB at any level
@@silversoulkenHeard the same thing about Geno Smith, switched teams and the next year a pro bowler,go figure.
See playing in the nfl is way easier than college - Anthony Richardson 😂
Richardson was always a reach pick. He was a raw project coming out of college. Anyone surprised by his lack of development, really wasn't paying attention. That's why no one is calling him a bust, because it was the likely outcome.
Bingo. It's really nothing to dive deep into. The guy was and still is very raw, but now you have to wonder where his head is at.
Yup...he would have likely been available in round 2.
15:55 I think it’s worth changing the word season to career, because this is a good Anthony Richardson analysis imo
And you die or pass out before you come out of an nfl game for being to tired.
Idk how i feel about AR honestly
Linebacker playing QB
We'll he got DA and GW so dey should b winnin
No team wants to wait for a good QB anymore
Too many of these “good” QBs coming out of college is that they didn’t stay anywhere for more then 2 years starting
I started this video...paused it to go out and play pool and get a beer with my pops. Came back to my desk and the title of the video was different without me refreshing haha. That's wild. Original title "This One Play Ruined His Career"
John Elway or Steve Young would have to be scrapped off the field rather than walking off the field tired.
Or Montana Bradshaw Or Marino
Not smart enough to play starting NFL quarterback....
Smart enough ?Broke out the ole dog whistle.
Pretty sure it was the 44% completion percentage and being 1-3 as a starter that ruined him.
The title is insane 😂😮💨
if you generous and count wide receiver drops he would still be at a sub 50% completion percentage. I have watched every colts game this year and you can see the frustration on the WRs and coaching staff. the only thing you could argue is defensively we haven't been the best but the D really has stepped up since week 3.
I feel like Kordell Stewart was benched a couple times, then became *SLASH*. That was too long ago for me to remember..
Neil odonell steelers Rotated Slash
3:10 the bengals logo 😂
Remeber when people called Carson Wentz soft for leaving the Playoff game in 2019 with a concussion from Clowney 😂 Imagine just taking yourself out
Yep and they traded him would rather have him Starting Colts could have got Marvin Harrison Jr and we picked a florida qb how manny of them got rings ?
Don't worry. They just don't want him to get tired 😂😂. I have been watching the nfl for a very long time and have never heard of a qb bench himself because they were tired. Benching him is probably the best thing for him. He can work on his skills and his cardio.
Great athlete. Shit discipline and mindset.
Big fan, please consider doing a video on why Dennis Allen and Mickey Loomis are still part of the Saints Organization. Keep up the great work
Starting this dude over super Joe is the biggest bond head decision of the year
The only thing I don’t agree with is them not knowing how to develop QBs, it’s just this one QB is always injured
This is also why interviews give fake answers.
Because then shit like this happens.
I've heard a lot of excuses in my life,
but never heard or imagined 'being tired' as an excuse to take himself out.
Glad the back drop is not the CFL. Couldn't make it there..😅
I think he’ll be fine. Not everyone comes into the NFL ready to start day one. Sitting behind a Vet like Flacco should help him.
Love your videos
Can you stop comparing this bum to Cam Newton! It’s ridiculous
On god. this guys completion percentage is 47% bro
BUM!!!!! straight up
