Protoss campaigns: “How can I build the absolute perfect composition of units to possibly beat this mission?” Terran campaigns: “How can I build the absolute worst composition of units to possibly make this mission a challenge?”
It really was. This whole campaign took 2 hours to record which is the same time as about 3 protoss missions. It almost felt like cheating to use units that are actually good!
Protoss: Only the energy of a Dark Templar can kill a Cerberate! Otherwise they'll be instantly reincarnated! Even with the Overmind's death they will still return as fast as you can kill them... UED: Well, we just unloaded a cargo ship load of firepower into those Cerberates and they ain't coming back. And they even have the Overmind protecting them! Seems like it's just a skill issue, Protoss. I wonder how that sneak attack level in the Zerg Campaign will go? As in, how quickly can you destroy all the bases and take out Duke and Fenix before they all wake up?
...maybe the Psi Disruptor has something to do with the lack of reincarnation but why is it suddenly the Zerg become docile when you take out the controllers (Cerberates or Hives)? Remember when Zasz got killed and couldn't be brought back? His brood didn't go docile, waiting for someone else to control them, they went completely feral...
Oh that's funny. I didn't know it's named Admiral DuGalle and has Duke's portrait. I figure they didn't care to make a DuGalle portrait on the off chance that someone clicks on the BC in that cutscene.
During the cutscene you get transmissions from Dugalle using his correct portrait, just like how you would during mission briefings etc throughout the whole campaign. I believe this is another one of those hardcode moments that usually got broken with remaster that 100% won't occur in 1hp, as they use the norad2 unit and just change which picture shows up. Dugalle's Battlecruiser is a unit that can be placed in the editor but it cannot be created with triggers, so if I wanted to fix it I would have to have dugalle hiding in a corner until the cutscene... and I believe his unit doesn't have proper wireframes so it would still be broken just differently.
@@Ahakenab That's the thing, he doesn't archive stream footage on his archive channel anymore. Even when he DOES upload stream footage, for whatever specific reason, he usually apologizes for it. Kinda funny.
@@hypotheticalaxolotl That's because the "archives" channel became a lets play channel, and he never made a proper archives channel to replace it. Now he streams on RUclips not Twitch though, so the vods are saved and not deleted automatically.
I wanted to test out Valks, so I made a little bonus video: ruclips.net/video/RrnoTEU7urM/видео.html

Ah yes, the mission where the standard zergling is more terrifying than the hero Torrasque.
Ultralisks get done so dirty here. There's literally no productive reason to make them, so I can't even try and show off a niche case.
This campaign really was a palate cleanser after the last two Protoss ones.
I hope keeping the Hatcheries safe in the next level isn't a nightmare.

6:40 "remember Young Templar, Cerebrates may only be slain by dark Templar energies"
*Wraith lasers go bzzt*
the UED is simply built different
Re-incarnation takes time, and we don't know if the babby Overmind can actually do that

You'll find out about the sneak attack in about 3 days :)
that was a really quick but fun campaign, also noticed that when you clicked the battlecruiser at the ending it shows Duke not Dugall

Man you really need to do the UEDAIP mod with 1HP. That'd be indsne !
Thanks for the series ❤
Is it just me that hears "need a wise guy" when firebats are trained? i know it's supposed to be "need a light?" but i can't ever hear that
Did Grant upload that challenge run on RUclips? Can you give a link?
I think back then he wasn't uploading things on his archive channel as he does right now. I've tried to find it but sadly no success.
I believe it was a stream series only, so there's no link for it.

Wait, have you tried sims? They just kill the marines instantly, right?
They give a not enough life error.
