He hasn't beaten it, he still has it and won't get rid of it, but he just keeps fighting, against all the odds. He's too stubborn to die. I hope you can find that same fortitude for yourself.

This came out right around when I walked the Camino de Santiago. 500 miles through the north of Spain. Quite literally walking to the place they thought to be the end of the world. I walked countless miles with song in my ear. It became my soundtrack. A month with only my boots and a few bits of clothing in my backpack. What an absolute gem of a song. Thank you ATW so much for giving me this tangible memory. Now it's almost hard to listen to because of all the memories and gratefulness that floods through me when it inevitably brings me right back to those places once those opening chords start playing. I saw ATW a year ago in London with my best mate, my incestuous little brother ❤ It was his first rock gig ever at 56 years old; it also was the first day of his chemo. I had seen the brand a few years before in Berlin..We stood there together, completely transfixed by this band. He loved it and he smiled for days afterwards. It was also the last rock gig of his life. My memory of him is forever linked to that night at the Electric Ballroom. I practically listen to ATW every day and if I am not listening to the music, it’s playing in my head, anyway.
