This character has no downside if you stutter-step whenever you move.
True! The delay on it is actually super short, so you could actually use an autoclicker (or very fast fingers) to move at basically full speed while shooting

Nice video. I do believe, however, that sacrificing all the speed with standing still items and building lots of life steal, standing still in a corner and picking up materials at the end of wave is a very viable strategy as well, just because you become very tanky.
I had a 6 shotgun soldier build and due to my incredibly high attack rate and critical hit rate, enemies basically couldnt come near me. Then I entered wave 20 and got destroyed. As the soldier you can only shoot when still so if you get the boss that attacks you with the field of red orbs that follow you then you're f*cked.
I also did a shotgun build and melted everything till that boss lmao

22:46 not worth grabbing 10% attack speed from tools?
It probably would have been - you often want to skip improved tools on weapon classes since it's cost-inefficient, but it's one I should pay better attention to overall. I often pass it on autopilot
I just managed to clear danger 5 soldier. It was a nightmare. I used 6 shotguns. I think the winning move was avoiding expensive items and buying more and better shotguns.

whenever i tried with a soldier id get a boss or elite that would just rush up to me n stand on my face n i was too slow to move n died XD
Yeah - having the damage to kill them very quickly helps, and continuing to move by tapping the keys can keep you ready to reposition
it was prolly mostly my fault, i got all the do better things while standing still, couch, statue, barricade so i was slow as hell, even running at full speed they were just on my buns XD will try again with shotguns n more speed@@Cephalopocalypse
Most of the 'stand still' items are terrible even on the classes you'd think they're made for like soldier and streamer. The condition is just too punishing when the vast majority of enemies want to run you over.
@@alphax4785I usually pair those stand-still items with the dodge tank build and I usually double down on the dodge tank build if I got that item that heals you when dodging successfully. Feels like a badass matrix style until RNG screw you up in the behind with back to back heavy damage because why not? lmao.
Is it me or does the obliterator only okay?
In normal waves it's pretty weak, but it's incredible against elites and bosses
