I mean for the game to still have the population it does and be as old as it is is really just a testament to how great of a game it is. "Bad" Rust is still one of the best and most played non-f2p games ever made. Seems like the cycle is working just fine.
Honestly IMO Facepunch is one of the better game companies out there. They seem to listen more to their community than others.

I agree. It's not just him though. I believe it's easier too build and upgrade at night, because you can't be seen as easily. I watch a few other RUclipsrs and they do the night building thing too.

I really suck at these style of games and I found out rust was no exception but I was compelled to give this a go after watching Willjum for so long. You could place structures that look like you are much bigger than you are. Place walls with doors that appear to enter the boulder/hill. Everything is new and they won't be sure whether those are part of your base. The object is to get them to waste rockets on doors that don't matter.
Might as well place beds and kits behind each one.
