I totally agree with all of this, this season has been a disaster for content creators, the gameplay is pretty rough because of the weapon meta and there really isnt anything fresh at all for us to talk about. Ranked aside, all we got was a mid-tier legend and a giant crab. The game is only really fun when you play periodically and not for long. Best of luck with your streams and making content moving forward, i'll be tuning in :)

Carried the game as wraith, we just followed in his wake and helped where we could, got a cheerful "good game guys, well played" over the mic at the end, even though we did 2% of the work. Pretty sure his name was 10EXP, either way, really nice and down to earth guy.

Love hearing your thoughts on being a creator. When I get burned up playing solo it usually really helps to just play with others who are around your skill level. Not having the burden of "one mistake means the game is over and the content is ruined" is really nice. Interaction can be really funny too and you wouldn't have to commentate everything yourself which makes it a lot more easy going. Honestly if you would like to give it a go and play some games I would be super happy to join. Got around 3k hours in the game, started creating apex content this year. Might be a cool idea for one of your weekly videos - going in as an unstoppable premade! ✌️😄

Like, I watched your videos back in season three when I first got obsessed with apex. The shop keep videos and all that. Just seeing those few wholesome moments and hearing you, as the content creator, laugh with one or the other display of skill in there, those were my favourites.

And as for why I like your videos and makes me click on specific ones I feel like you fit in the same niche as TC zwag just in apex. Off meta shenanigans. Like a good, wholesome and fun personality having fun experimenting with different strategies is great content. Like the story behind how you discover a lot of your tips and tricks- even out of context of a full game would be awesome to see! I would completely understand if you would just make less videos a week, maybe 4 or 5 (or even less if you want to). The loyal fans wouldn't mind because they understand it, and will watch the better videos with even more pleasure, the not loyal fans wouldn't mind because they didn't even watch all the videos in the first place. Some suggestions on content for your channel:
-(As most people have suggested already) Educational apex videos. This can be in many forms, I see a lot of apex youtubers spectating lobbies and offering their insight on how they should play it out. Maybe you can get review footage sent to you by your community which would make them feel more included or you could spectate ranked since it's such a hot topic right now.
-Other educational content: Deep dive Lore behind legends (really enjoyed those and would love to see more of it. You have covered far more details than any other apex channel I watch and I watch a LOT of apex content).
-Weekly challenge: Master one weapon/one legend ability. Use the given gun/legend for a whole week (maybe spin a wheel or something to randomly select). This can give you more regular but still interesting footage but you don't need to burn out, just revord your progress with the weapon/legend over the course of a week.
-Tier List videos are personally satisfying to watch. But I wouldn't suggest doing it on something broad like "rating every season" but rather something like best legends in pubs, best duo combos, best ranked legends, etc
-I'm not sure what you mean by having content that is more technical, but I would be interested in seeing any kind of information or knowledge about apex thats not widely known.
-a "How To" series would be very helpful. Not sure if you've already done one, but how to use grenades properly, how to get best movement (pc or controller), how to rev push properly, how to use horizon ult properly, etc. They can be short but these things are often unclear to the crowd. It's easy in theory but plenty of seemingly small things can give u different outcomes, so knowing what things to look out for would be good.
-Lastly, since the apex community openly talks about controversial topics like the recent lifeline buff which is 50/50 right now. A lot of people want a complete rework, you could react to people's different rework ideas for lifeline. Maybe give some kind of prize to the best idea or do a poll of your top 5? You could take suggestions on reddit or have some kind of system where we send our ideas.
I know it's a lot, I was definitely high writing this but I hope it's comprehensible.

Personally I come to this channel because you are a really good, but not insane apex player (or at least that's what it feels like). It keeps the gameplay closer to what I could hope to experience (as a average-ish player). It makes it more relatable.
I usually open whatever you post, see if it's interesting and then do something else while the video is playing in the background :)
As for videos that I would be interested in...
    1. Short to mid sized explanation videos. How to drop perfectly. How to better use cover. How to rotate better. End-circles, etc. This is also a good place to use bad footage, since you can show why it went wrong. Sure others have done this as well, so have you. But there's nothing wrong with re-evalutating the skills that we have grown accostumed to and see if there's a neat trick to teach. Especially with a high ceiling legend such as Rampart with newer tech like fast walls (place wall, ult, tac, repeat).
    2. Colab videos with other creators (RagTag, Shiv, Janx, etc.) is almost always fun, it usually gives decent banter especially if you actually consider them friends. This also allows for somewhat more casual games.
    3. The whole tournament with other creators was a blast (in my opinion) and these large colabs are quite entertaining.
    4. As a Rampart main your skill is far above me, yet feels reachable. Thus giving me the idea that I can learn to be better from your videos.

to answer the question @ 4:48
There's a mix of information I know and information I don't know which works well all around. If I don't know what you showcase in your video, then I learn, if I already knew, it doesn't hurt, if anything, it's information to be able to relay to friends by simply linking them your video(s) due to the nature of how you explain your topic(s).
There are other channels like this, but not all of the information in the videos is the same and eventually people will watch you for your personality. Even if it's a "bite-sized video" we gravitate towards what we like hearing, you're pretty straight to the point as well which is great :)

Honestly when it comes to watching I like the quickness on updates for news about apex without the worry for extreme spoilers for coming content. That and I just like how things are so casual like you're one of us, just another filthy casual 😂

Don't play Apex much anymore but you've always been my favorite Apex Legends content creator. The videos I tend to like most are opinions on the meta (weapons/characters/maps/ect.) like your favorite weapon combinations, character compositions, game-stats reviewing, theorycrafting, or even trying that out real-time in a match. This also includes videos such as tier lists and/or even videos explaining balance changes you would personally make and why.
For example, I've mostly gone to your videos expressing an opinion on a character, playrate, weapon (at least with the title) which I'm pleased to get at the beginning of the video but not long after that you go just into gameplay, often giving real-time thoughts and examples of what you were talking about but I don't usually stay for that bit because its more so just about having another match but with the theme of what you were talking about.
To give you a more direct example of exactly one of the main things I'd like to see, there seems to be a lack of videos expressing specific loadouts options for every character, based on their strengths and different playstyles they could flex in a way no other character could. Hopefully that means its a very good option for the character but it doesn't necessarily have to be because the main idea is to try something fun and unique to the character.
Rampart and Maggie might be some of the easier characters to do this with initially because of their passives.
You could go even further beyond that though and create a whole Legend Psych Profile video that gets into teammates they want to have cause of certain synergistic abilities, Legends they counter, Legends they get countered by, loadout build-up walkthroughs of what to look out for in terms of loot to collect and what your ultimate loadout may look like.
At this point I'm rambling so I'd say use your imagination!

You have a great speaking voice. Interesting sound and I’m from California, so of course your accent is soothing for me because it’s unlike what I hear everyday in person usually. Also I really enjoy your humor and speaking during gameplays. So really as long as you’re dropping enough content for people to still see gameplays with commentary, even if it’s stream highlights, I’ll watch. I’m sure many other fans of yours will too. Really we just want to hear you speak, be candid while playing Apex. Maybe make some funny team up videos with a good random teammate you meet, or even maybe playing with a couple of fans maybe 1 time a month or maybe every three months you have 2 days where for 3 hours each day you stream and rotate between playing with fans. Every 3 games you get 2 new fresh teammates from the fan base. I know this is a lot of work, planning. I know that would be such a huge deal for your fans though, including me. Now I know many of us probably aren’t that good, but surely there are some hidden gems that are insanely good at the game too and just work or are like 12 so haven’t been seen online yet. Your plan sounds good though if you decide just to stick to your plan.

I think what makes your channel unique is the fact that you are a solid good player, but you aren’t overly sweaty about it. Make it seem like you are just having a good time. Your plays are more unique and quirky and that makes it fun. You are a very approachable channel.
Also you main rampart and I do too, so I love that.

Part of it is you being a Rampart main. But mostly it's because you're super chill and the sort of person i would want to play with. Also you're actually REALLY good at the game and when you play Rampart it's like I'm playing vicariously through you 🤣

I've learned a lot about playing Rampart from you. I'm trying to recreate the movement you're able to pull off on console but idk how far I'll get with that.
I also enjoy when you talk about the state of the game. Most of your videos are interesting to me but those are my favorites.

I watch every video and every short on both this and the ‘also tgm’ channel. Except I especially enjoy watching the challenge videos - I know they’re difficult to make and to get ideas though. I also understand that if you had new challenges every day then it’d get less exciting when you do release one. Now its so exciting when you release a proper challenge video. When you released the new and improved hardcore mode I felt like a child on Christmas. But I do love all your videos even if they’re not challenges. Keep doing what you do, we love you mate.

I found your channel through your game play videos where you explain exactly what you are doing (your thought process) as you do it. And I LOVE that. Videos like those have helped me improve and understand so much with the game. Besides that, your just, super entertaining to watch. Giving yourself a more sustainable pace sounds like the right play! Personally, love the idea of seeing different games that reflect your interests on here. I think that a lot of your viewers found you because of your skills in Apex, but many of us continued watching because of your positive attitude, consistent dedication, and affable nature. So, seeing you put those qualities toward other titles/genres would be a lot of fun to watch! (Could even do a community poll for a list of games that you're interested in playing.) Whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll be fun to watch! Best of luck!

What I have found to be one of the best way to simply take it slow and enjoy the game is to just, follow whatever my teammates want to do; if they push hard every fight, so do I, if they wanna take it slow and play for the win, I'll help them. I also try to go out of my way to find items they need.

I think a big part of it is you refuse to put out garbage content, all the stuff you put out is top notch. That is a hard thing to do every single time to be honest, and a lot of other creators clickbait with "THE WINGMAN IS GOING IN THE CRAFTER?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!" and talk about that for like 2 mins and then show like less than cool they've hit

Hi Merchant, long time viewer of your channel! I just want to say your fatigue for Apex is completely understandable, in fact I felt the same way back in Season 12. Since then I've stopped playing but I've still kept in touch with Apex through your channel; it's not that I've come to hate the game or anything but I felt like I found more joy playing some other games that aren't so competitive sometimes. So I completely understand where you are going with this and I support your decision to try something else out; the reduced Apex gameplay may have an impact on the channel, but it's also important to prioritize passion over anything else :)
The thing that attracts me to your content is the overall modest and positive vibes that you bring. The internet, and by extension Apex, has had enough of its share of toxicity, and it's nice to see there are content creators that are more modest for a change. This is why despite I've stopped playing the game, I continue to watch your content.
Perhaps maybe include a game like Titanfall 2 like I mentioned in your previous stream; this way it has ties to Apex and the advanced movement techniques are still present. I know personally I am having a blast playing the game! I also enjoyed your old video of you playing Fortnite as well, just saying. Either way, l'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store for all of us!

Personally I really like the variety of content that I get from this channel. I don't need to have any sort of expectations because every video is something genuine that you enjoyed and I feel like that extend on to me. It'd be like if a musician made music for what they thought someone else wanted to hear and not what made they wanted to sound like as an artist.
Basically when it comes to creative works of any kind nobody knows better then you, the artist, so make the content you enjoy making the most and I'm sure it will be content that we will also enjoy by extension.
