- A Great Tit invaded the nest box today while a Blue Tit was inspecting it. An agressive fight took place and it is obvious the Blue Tit is no match because of it's smaller size. Unfortunately the cam stopped recording but I can promise you all that the tiny Blue Tit escaped and came out with a fright.
all the dislikes were made by the bird community because they never gonna find out who was the winner of the fight

I remember a surreal experience my wife and I had. We were driving home through the orchards when 2 birds who were fighting with eachother landed in the road. They were surrounded by other birds. We didnt have time to swerve or brake, but at the last minute the onlooking birds scattered, but the two who were engaged in the brawl were killed when we accidentally hit them. We went back and moved them out of the road, laying them next to each other. I don't know why it was so interesting to me even if it was kinda sad.

I'll explain: to be "tits up" means to be lying on your back, vulnerable. As if a woman were to be lying on her back here breasts, or tits as is a colloquial term in the US, facing up. In some cases it means dead as when a bird dies. In this case a tit with its legs up is probably a dead bird.

To be "tits up" is to be vulnerable, or sometimes dead. Analogous to when a woman is on her back, her breasts (or colloquially in the US called tits), are facing up. Also when someone dies they are usually face up in a body bag or a mortician's table.
So in American movies you'll sometimes hear "I don't want to be around when things go tits up" and that usually means "it looks like things are going bad and I don't want to be here where I might be vulnerable, for sake of not ending up dead". Or similar to that.

Not that much it's just fighting for better nest not to actually kill. One of them will have to surrender and run away. Video doesn't show which one but my guess is blue one lost.

The last thing any of them want during breeding season is injured. It compromises the whole point. They were fighting over the right to build a nest and it’s unfortunate that both got involved. We’ve had over 13 years of blue tits building nests in our box with cam in it and only had a starling stick it’s beak in, it couldn’t get in as I had put the metal circle around the entrance to protect gnawing and predatory pecking.

What are your top pulls overall ?
You usually see Great Tits eating seeds and insects in your garden, but they actually kill and eats small birds too. They have a strong beak which they use to crush and pick open the skull of other smaller birds, then they eat the nutricious and easily digested brain which is not as tough to eat as muscle tissue etc. Something tells me there is a clear reason why we don't get to see the full videoclip of this fight. Two beautiful small birds, but usually the ending for the Blue Tit is not very pleasant, it's part of nature and it happens on a daily basis and will keep happening.
I've been feeding thousands of small birds on my property for 10 years now, i enjoy having lots of different birds around, watching them eat, fly, socialize, mate, simply living their own lives. But the things i've got to see during the time, besides all the nice little things, can seem chocking to some, everything from birds killing other bird's babies to bigger birds of prey getting attacted due to me feeding and "grouping up" the smaller ones.

It's the type of bird, Like Blue jay or mocking bird. These kinds of birds are called Tits. Just like there are Blue Jays and Red Jays, these two are a Blue Tit and a Great Tit.
