Would you be able to make a video on how you ran the wiring on the main display or the other glass display you have? I’m not an expert in this area so I love how you can’t see any wiring
Excellent video! I'm currently building a new home, and ironically..I'm looking at lighting and display options for the office/collection room. Definitely a helpful video! I ordered two of the Netgear murals. Excited for those to eventually get installed. Thanks Jedha..for the lighting ideas!
Hey buddy...i need a favor from you...I need to know where you purchased the long goose clamp that's holding Gambit....that's flexible and bendable...please thank you.
Appreciate the ideas you have shared. Really digging the LED and channels underneath the shelves. I never thought of that and will be using that soon. :D I've been using Hue for a long while now and will continue to do so. I need to get more strips that's a project for another time though.
Love this, need more people talking about lights. Got a big govee on order now on your recommendation but have a question on detolfs. Do you think it's better to light each shelf via a single strip or just go around the frame with a long led strip ?. I've got the IKEA dioders and unsure now if this is the best way, should I get another 5m govee and just go around the overall shape of the case ?. Also, you use strips to block of direct light to the eyes, my hero for saying and showing, I've used black cardboard for years now but I'm liking the idea of trying to cut metal for more aesthetic looks. Keep it all up bud.
Those Luke lights are amazing, the cleanest look you will find for the Detolfs! I personally would light each shelf for maximum exposure. Their LEDS are made to length for the detolf with transparent wires.
@@justinclarke2204 The Luke's do seem great and wish I could easily get/use. I'm in the UK so would have to deal with power converter etc. Am very tempted though and the more people talk the more I'm swayed. About time to give my case with £1000+ worth of items something more than £20 of lighting. Crazy to think how little we spend on display Vs the items. Thanks bud, more people talk about lighting the better imo
Hey Ryan-JP 👋, seeing as I don't know enough about lighting I'll just say that your choice of lighting is very cool and definitely shows off your figures and statues 👍.
Well I have to say for someone who is not a professional lighter all of those lights came out awesome my 100% favorite this is Star Wars lighting wall I am definitely going to add those to my man cave that I am in the process of Designing for my 6 scale figures of Star Wars that is going to look great your man cave looks absolutely excellent 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
The Govee RGBIC don't have dedicated white LEDs and why it's not very bright and can create colour artifacts when white as it creates it using the RGB elements. Also consume way more power in white mode vs actual white LEDs so not ideal as a primary light source. RGBIC actually means that the controller can address individual LED/segments and create the similar light effects like your Govee lightstrip. They do have ones w dedicated white LED which they call RGBWW but I don't have any of those so I can''t tell how bright they can get as they never provide brightness info in lumens :( . Be great if you could get that set and compare ;). But for primary display lighting I suspect dedicated white LED strips might be best option as you can also get more LEDs/ft.
@@JedhaPatrol so you are getting the Govee RGBWW strips for a side by side shoot out? :D. BTW I love your setup. I actually picked up the decorative panel from HD you have in the summer but maybe now I will finally get motivated to do something w it ;)
Hmm my govee lights up as much as my hue🤔 sure you compare the right spec ones cause there's different ones that are rated different even if the look the same🤔 And btw, RGBIC is not with white led, RGBIC is addressable led strips so you can have red on 3 inches and blue on the next 3 inches and so on, and even have them flow in one direction 🙂

Absolutely brilliant video Jedha. So glad you took the time to go over this with real detail. Top man!

Best Hot Toys Room lighting on RUclips
😎🙌🏻
Could you do a how to on making the aluminum brackets for the luke lights? I can never find them online either

Thanks Jedha..for the lighting ideas!
what size are the lag bolts for the death star walls?
amazing work Jedha, bravo
Every time I see your black room I think of the office when Dwight paints the room black!😂
Looks great and nice lighting set up!👍🏻
Thanks for sharing. Awesome dude. Not many people will share.
How deep are the spacers for the Death Star lights? 2 inches?
About that
You went with the long horn maul face, always looking for alternative besta displays…
Awesome lighting in the collection Jedha!

Very good video thanks so much Ryan!! 🙏
Sorry if you mentioned this in a older video but where did you get the glass display cabinets for the hot toys display?
This is a great idea for a video. Appreciate it. Some of your methods, I use.
I have the govee light bar in my room with the extra corner pieces and I love it!
Right on!
Completely agree on getting Phillips Hue lights. I went cheap 2 years ago with GE lights and they were horrible. Hue is worth the money.
Any Plans down the line to invest in Moducase or another custom option for figures ?
How did you mount the govee light bar to the wall?
it comes with double sided tape
Awesome video and some insane lighting. Your set-up is awesome and great job!
incredible Man Cave!
Sweet set up. Thanks for sharing
I have those panels. They are awesome.
Thanks for sharing with the community 👍👍👍

Thank you for this video! It was super helpful! What kind of aluminum channels and double sided tape do you use?
I run a strip of each of the cool white and warm white of the Luke light in my Detolf to get the color I want. Works great

Or you can buy a cheap LED strip light and put it in a aluminum defused track.

Omg you have multiple figures on your detolf shelves. 😱
Lmao
All those lights and I still can't see anything
