in the beginning when your in that little house thing (6:00) it’s not the weird herobrine, it’s js the mod whenever you enter that specific building it turns night. so you just can’t leave or enter through that specific doorway.
I was just commenting that either they updated the mod or it was part of another mod he was using. My thoughts were that it was the weather mod or something

16:12 Obviously you saw, Murmur, from Alex's Mobs, it can stretch its neck 50 blocks to bite you. Kill it and you can get parts to make a pretty fun whip, it can hit mobs 8 blocks away and also can damage three mobs nearby. She can also drop the "unsettling kimono" which will make all undead mobs neutral.

Some cave water is, a lot isn't. It can be contaminated by surrounding toxic minerals, agricultural runoff, bat guano (your body will have a fun time with the diseases from that), have acidic flesh eating properties, and many other horrors. Stagnant water can be especially dangerous.

14:11 Tasmanian devil from Alex's Mobs. Ironically, you gave it the ONE ITEM (rotten flesh) that triggers it's howling ability, which doesn't make it hostile, but actually SCARES AWAY hostile mobs. They can't be tamed but you can lead them like chickens by using rotten flesh. Could have them at your base and feed them rotten flesh when you're getting overwhelmed.
The anomaly has a higher chance of attacking you if you frequently return to your “home.”
If you want the reason, in the lore for the anomaly apparently it would follow its victims back to their homes and torture them before their untimely demise. As for why it attacked you outside of your home, the more times you sleep the more aggressive it becomes I think.

In my own opinion, I think that the best way to go into this mod is not to, you have a friend make different worlds every other day. and one day, they add this. It adds to immersion, because this isn't just anything, it's an anomaly, it's not meant to be there it's the only wrong thing in your world. So in my own opinion, have somebody entirely blind go into this, not know whats going on, and once they realize somethings legitimately wrong, it's full on.

They’re small predatory marsupials that have pretty nasty bites, and their screams and growls (mostly heard during fights with rival devils at night) are where their namesake comes from :D They were nearly pushed to extinction thanks to the Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger) outcompeting them, and again recently due to cancer, though thankfully their numbers seem to be recovering
I usually hear them when I go camping out in the bush lol, wasn’t expecting to see em in a Minecraft video

I wish there was slow burn horror mods. Going days without a incident etc. Or simple stuff like ur bed being rotated rhe other way while ur gone, or the door opening randomly while ur in a chest. Very very simple stuff that puts u on edge, its rare and u dont feel alone. All horror mods are just up in ur face, loud, and obnoxious
from the fog is kinda like this last time i played it
it takes three in game days for anything to happen and then it’s gradual leading up to when herobrine actually shows himself. and there is a config that i think allows you to make the waiting times longer. i think it’s from the fog anyway maybe im misremembering
@jordynensor2081 I've never played from the fog and don't know much about it. I might give it a shot soon but from random herobrine mod videos, I always see crazy things like a forest being burned down, etc. I just think that if something like that is to happen, it should happen hundreds of days into the game. I don't wanna be day 5 and something looking into my window. I honestly want to forget I even installed it after I play for a while.

honestly, similar thought. But I'm usually the one spawning in some hot or cold biome and just getting cooked/frozen. and then considering configuring items for it then wondering why I bother.

He becomes active the first time you look at him. He’ll become progressively more active after that, and looking at him or sleeping after this makes him even MORE active.

Just a heads up! The Horror Elements mod (the one that adds those odd buildings and corpses) has pressure plates that sets the day night cycle to midnight on Day0/Day1.
It’s so bizarre and to my knowledge, there’s no way to turn it off. A shame because it’s a neat mod otherwise.

Fun Fact: The anomaly has no extra code added to him that would prevent him from getting trapped inside of a boat. So you can just cheese him entirely by carrying a boat with you and slapping it down once he gives chase.

If you haven't figured it out, some modded structures actually turn it to night when entering and exiting from the entrance

Why are there a lot of hostile mobs around? It’s night and that’s what Minecraft does. If you need to survive through the first night and don’t have a base already built, just dig out a small shelter into the ground. You running around at night like a chicken without a head never ends well unless you’re geared. Lastly, why does everyone immediately start running for a village? You can easily whip up a base and get settled in the same time it takes to find a village.

In my country, there is black chicken that has black feather, meat, and even the bone is black.
Usually, this chicken used for some religious/traditional events that has something to do with supernatural things.
So the fact they add black chicken in the mod is so well done....

Amazing mod video. If you planning on continuing some mod tips. from what I saw you added Alexs Mobs. It adds more mobs and threats. The first one you encounter is the Tasmanian devil. It's a friendly mob when given rotten flesh. It roars out a scream that temporarily makes mobs move away in an area of the Tasmanian devil. The second was a hostile mob. It is a dangerous range mob and mostly spawns in the cherry blossom biome. The last is the centipede deeper you go the more common they spawn they are bad. My last tip is the backpack can be upgraded and add addons. Sorry for the long comment

Due to how RUclips autoplays this, you probably won't see it. But the "zombie" he notices here is the "anomaly", you can just barely see the overly-HD eyesocket. It the proceeds to melt through solid block.
His rotation speed is pretty fast, and for the entity to dip away faster than his turn speed it has to have a thinner range of tolerance when it comes to how close it counts as "viewing" it. Perhaps his FOV has something to do with it? It's not like FtF's Herobrine where it vanishes, it has an animation, which requires it to start sooner to have the same "did I see that correctly" effect.

2:43 Yes there are entirely black chickens IRL. One breed is called Ayam Cemani chickens. They even have black bones, apparently. Their eggs, contrary to popular belief, are not naturally black though…i think. Theres also chickens that can grow to be so big they could keep a small child pinned down. These are called Brahma Chickens.

And that isnt even the most bizarre barnyard trivia i have in my lexicon. I got one better: did you know that the mood and living conditions of some livestock can directly affect their produce quality? Free Range hens for example are often considered to lay much tastier and more healthy eggs than battery farm hens.
The reason why you might've not seen him is perhaps yoru server might've broke. I suggest rejoining it whenever you play it again and it doesn't work. The Anomaly gets aggravated when you sleep, and it kicks you out the bed before you can even sleep. Since that didn't happen, your server might've been broken or there's a mod in that server that's also preventing it.
To answer your question at 2:47, yes chickens can look like that and they can range from any breed of chicken but most notably found in silkies
Chickens are not only white, orange, brown, or light brown they are also black sometimes depending on breeding though there is one type of chicken that is fully black especially its bones :D

The building with an anvil that you encountered has a block buried around the entrance that changes the “mood” to nighttime. Break the block to return to normal.
Also, in the same building, there is an emerald block under the impaled villager’s head

Sorry for being a month late, so if you didn't know already, here's what I know about the Anomaly's behavior. The guy you saw the whole time WAS the Anomaly, just "disguised", you could say. Sleeping makes him angry, and after sleeping enough, I think he'll go into his bigger form with the massive teeth.
A person from Poland in his minecraft series used that villager head from that building as his luck charm
