What alternator are you using on this?
Nissan Micra K10 from memory. Getting hard to find now though.
How did you get vacuum using the itbs to get a map signal?
The ECU uses the TPS for load rather than MAP 👍
Would upgraded cams cause the valves to contact if VVT does its magic without tuning first?
Not if the engine has been timed correctly.
