  • Marcus, Luke, Jim and Pete are here to welcome in the weekend, after Man United’s peculiar European adventures continue with a weird win over Rangers. Admittedly we do focus more on the latest mix of baffling calamities, from smashed TVs and breaching PSR regulations to a “full on mutiny” in the squad. Oof.
There’s also plenty of Barclays to look ahead to, as Cole Palmer looks to boot Man City while they’re down and we’ve got a cracker at the Vitality where Bournemouth will host Nottingham Forest. Plus, we discover that a fumbled decision from Kevin Keegan changed the course of football history forever and there’s £1 up for grabs on a spicy exhibition round of Jack’s Encyclopaedia!

Getting rid of Pep would be ridiculous after a single bad season.
Many of the players are burned out and aging. So just replacing the manager won’t do anything of significance until the squad is rebuilt. So why wouldn’t you keep one of the best managers of all time for that task?
(Also, the fact he’s had his personal issues publicised hasn’t helped)
People want loyalty from mangers and players, that has to work both ways.

his bad season would be pretty good for most PL teams.

After years of listening to you guys this is actually the first time seeing you and what a treat it is…. Side observation is that Pete looks like fellow RUclipsr Joshua Weissman

I think it’s harsh to say it was a mistake from Maguire, he was pushed in the back as he went to jump. It would’ve been soft but if De Ligt’s goal was ruled out then so should Rangers’.

We enquired about anthony earlier that summer.....then went off on trying to get sancho or de Jong (i forget exactly who)for months....and then came back to ajar who slapped 30 million on top as they only had like 2 weeks of the window left. The whole thing was even worse when you factor in that as well

Ajax sold Timber and Lisandro earlier that window right? So they kept giving United f off prices for Antony, but United kept meeting it.

Re the 'I could still be in Lisbon'.
If he does make a mess of the Man Utd job hell get a massive payout and walk back into a good job in Portugal. In fact i wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back in Lisbon.. The PL money makes a mockery of itself.

not a shame psr is finally hampering the big six..im no expert but they have been allowed to blow money without consequences and when new money comes into other clubs they are the first to complain about a unfair advantage.

    • @rmh032
      @rmh032 14 дней назад +1

PSR helps the bigger clubs maintain their advantage. They will always turn over and therefore be allowed to spend more than the rest.

The only people i've heard point out Ange's pathetic excuses as if he didn't come from a Celtic that had the same issues.
He's quite literally responsible for this and doesn't give a damn.
    That's damning.
Reminds of former Fulham manager Felix Magath, an absolutely tyrannical nutter who would chew up his players and spit them out for not being 'tough enough' according to their completely unrealistic standards.
