I visited Cebu and Boracay and Bohol and Luzon in the Philippines in June and July 2023 and I met a nice tour organiser named Alwina on the Bohol beach and she was a good tour organiser . But be mindful of a lot of hype too. I’m from Australia !
There are already two daily international flights from Seoul (Korea) to Tagbilaran's Bohol-Panglao Airport. Wish that sooner, there will also be from another countries too.
Hiii. Unfortunately, I hope that this exactly would not happen. I have experienced quite some masstourism at some sites (Whale Shark and Sumilon island at Cebu) in the wonderful Philippines. If reaching Boracay would become too easy, I fear much of the magic would eventually be gone due to the arriving mass tourism. I feel it is just right this way. The ferry ride took 2 hours but it was relaxing and part of the travel experience
Chocolate Hills is very unique.. but the rest are typical or common views in tropical countries... nothing special for me who live in the similar tropical country... so far, for me personally, Switzerland is still the best.... 😊
Hi Dea. Thank you! Yeah, the chocolate hills are very unique. I guess we humans we always like what we are not used to. We Swiss, we like the tropical environments, the beaches... beautiful landscapes we do not have. Southeast Asia is one of my favorite regions.
Hi Rolf. Yes, we arrived internationally. It was the only suitable connection from Singapore. I guess from Manila or other parts in the PH, it's better to directly fly to Panglao, as you have just mentioned.

BGC Taguig in Manila, It is a European side of Manila where you can find Venice Grand Canal Mall, One of the most popular shopping malls for tourists and locals, the Venice Grand Canal Mall is filled with shops, restaurants and live entertainment. The Burgos Circle is the perfect place to explore if you’re after a hip restaurant in a relaxing atmosphere. You can grab a quick lunch at a bistro, enjoy casual dining for dinner or spoil yourself at various dessert shops. High Street Café, Voted as one of the best restaurants by most visitors in BGC, the High Street Cafe serves a variety of authentic Asian food. Mercato Centrale, If you’re after a different vibe and want a quick bite, visit Mercato Centrale in BGC. There are plenty of street food options and you can casually sit in the public areas to enjoy the snack. Also, There are Best Things to do in Boracay Island, Siargao Island, in Cebu City you can find a lot beaches and water falls as well, Davao City, Camiguin Island, Bantayan Island, Palawan is well known too for beaches and water falls. So many to mention. We have 7,107 Islands but some of our islands are not yet explored by tourists because some of the places are diverse and scattered. I hope you enjoy your visit to the Philippines
