Don’t expect you to tell us what you spent on lumber to build these cabinets, but sharing the number of sheets of plywood would be helpful to anyone considering buying your plans. Regardless great build!
I really have enjoyed all of your videos. I laugh because you think like I do trying to maximize plywood use. I built an 8 drawer dresser using some advise from your videos and used Easel to play tetras so I had less waste! I must have some OCD tendencies too. lol
Great video Brad. Time to add some floating shelves above the miter saw for more storage. FYI, I was dying laughing at your reaction from the kreg t-track dropping on the ground 🤣 Merry Christmas to you and the family 👍💯
If my shop were part of the structure that my family and I live in, I'd be storing things like paint and finishes (that you obviously have quite a bit of) in an approved metal "flammables" locker rather than wood cabinets. Probably not much more than what you paid for all that Baltic birch.
Instead of those goofy shelf pins I'd much prefer the pilaster rails for shelving. It can be adjusted to a half of an inch. My cabinets, I dado a groove and inset the pilaster strips.
Man, these are some expensive cabinets... I've been pricing plywood lately and it's anywhere from $65 - $90/sheet depending on the type and thickness you get. That said, these look amazing and I plan to do something like this in my garage. I think I've grabbed some of your plans in the past, I may grab this one as well. On a different note, 26:03 - I was wondering why you haven't been calling them "Me Nails" like you have in the past. Personally, I thought it was silly but it stuck. Maybe throw it in once a video and see if anyone catches it.
I remember the first time I saw your videos hearing you go "Me nails" I went "Ha, this guy thinks he is funny." and now hearing you say "Brad nails" I go "You mean... me nails... what... what has life done to you Brad... they are Me Nails when you use them... :( "

All the best of the season to you and the family. Stay safe in the New Year.
Your quite talented, nice shop
Great video
0:40 There are some very happy deers nearby.
But what did you find that made you want to completely demo the work space?

Did not expect to see the deer slaughterhouse being demolished.

The lack of “me nail” comments really upset me during this video. I come for the woodworking but stay for that dad jokes 😂
Excellent!!!. I need to know how you hold your upper cabinets, french cleat?. Thanks!
Where do you purchase your Baltic Birch PW? Would sanded ply work almost as well for a shop? Thanks!
Just wondering: why did you move the power outlet for the miter saw instead of making an additional one? Ain’t such a thing as to much outlets..
Where did u get the Baltic birch plywood?
Nashville Plywood, back before it doubled in price
Thanks I live in Hartsville and I will check it out…. Is your new place still in the Franklin area?
How much lumber used for the project?
I do like the revisit on the older videos but, that light could've been flush mounted to that pegboard and that'd give even more room. 🙂
The light doesn't block any of the pegboard because of the rail around the perimeter

18:08 I legit said "So just clap your hands....just clap your hands." Now you just need somewhere to store two turn tables and a microphone 🙂

Baltic Birch for shop cabinets? Very costly. Why not use a lower grade of plywood?
❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
Common sense builds, I like that
A 32nd of an inch is .78 of a mm
Me nails 😂
$48 for Baltic birch?! Send me your coordinates
I just hate not hearing "'me' nails" 😂
i'm pretty sure it's in there a few times :)
