If you have the time and your flight arrives before 2pm, as a Club World or First passenger you can use the BA Arrivals Lounge in T5 who serve much better food and drink.
Thanks for the comment and a good reminder, for sure. I was actually transiting to another BA flight, so went to the T5 Galleries First Lounge. I do like the Arrivals Lounge, although the showers need a refresh.
I don't know what it is but breakfast in Club from Washington is always awful! I flew in July and had the coconut yoghurt thing which takes 90% of coconut. The breakfast wrap I had was a full English one but it tastes of nothing and the wrap dough was soggy.
Not good news for future trips! It does seem like an after thought, doesn't it? I know it's difficult squeezing in two meals in a going from the US to Europe, but still feel they could amp things up a bit. Thanks for much for watching and the feedback.
