Thank you brother, replaced my slave cylinder today and can't build enough pressure no matter what. Gotta be that master cylinder. Much appreciated!

Thank you! Your explanation has helped me understand how these hydraulic systems work. Finally got my Bandit 1250 running after being stored. Thought everything was good until I tried to ride away. Under load, apparently, the master clutch cylinder has failed and the bike kills when put in gear. Hope to get rebuilt today and see what happens.

Another great vid Bryan, I will say something re your mention of the vent in the cap of the reservoir . . . that vent hole is only to allow the rubber bellows to move as the fluid level increases/decreases, it vents only the top side of the bellows (facing the underside of the cap) and the bottom side (facing the fluid in the reservoir)is supposedly sealed from atmosphere . . . BUT it is not a perfect seal and atmospheric moisture does find its way into the fluid. Looking forward to the next instalment of c10's Garage !

So got a 2000 busa and replaced the clutch and basket and still having issues of great lock up and engagement when the bike is cold. Drive a couple blocks bike warms and I lose all gears. Let it cool down and same thing. Is it due to this master not getting a good seal?
