Is it just me or is that watch band TIGHT on his wrist?
Yes, me too. But you can buy third party band online
This dude does not have a 54 V02
SO tight
I find these comments comforting, lol...Garmin had me thinking I was dumb 😂
Great job, simple training. Love my watch !
Please bring training readiness feature to the 255
In interval runs, in recovery time i/we don’t see how much intervals we done(like on fr245), for example 8/10; sometimes I am not sure like today, very hot, Z5 running; BUT it is very important to know if you want to give 100% your self in for example last two or last interval
Can you add that option in some update?
Hi Garmin, i have been using chest strap with this watch during exercise all the while and the HR monitoring is not accurate at certain time during workout. I noticed when I connect to garmin HRM dual chest strap the wrist heart rate is still emitting light meaning it is still measuring heart rate using wrist? The Wrist Heart Rate settings status “auto” & source switching “on”. I have to manually disable the wrist heart rate to make sure the measurement is using chest strap. With manual disable wrist HR using chest strap I can see the power consumption has reduced. The other observation with chest strap if I remove my watch from my wrist only will HR measure using chest strap. When the wrist sensor detects your skin if you wear the watch the wrist sensor enables back even with chest strap on. Please look at this algorithm to fix this issue.
Garmin bring something basic as Training Readiness to 255 too, I bought it only 2 months ago!!!!
It really just makes you want to buy Garmin products, when you arent even guaranteed software updates for 6 months
I have the watch. Are you able to connect this watch to a peloton bike? If so how do u do it?
When is this watch releasing in Taiwan. Distributors here still say they don't have a date.
Hi. I have a new Garmin Forerunner 265, and despite turning off the screen activation with the hand movement ("gesture" in the general use options), it keeps turning on. I've tried turning it off and on several times, but after a while it keeps doing it. What can I do? Thank you!
My last watch was a 235 and I bought this 265 and have been using it for the past 5months. When I bought 235 I have issue in charging the watch to full capacity using a power bank. It’s shows 100% full charged but will only last for 2 days by just placing the watch on my bench unused. This is with all connectivity Bluetooth disabled. The same issue is happening to 265. There was an update FW to fix this for 235. After 3 iteration 235, 245, 255 and now 265 garmin still have the same FW bug in the watch? You guys still have not find a way in the FW to rectify this issue. Before you launch a product did Garmin personal perform compatibility charging test with different power source? There should be a workaround to determine the resistance/impedance of each charging source. Very disappointed with garmin
I have a PhD. I need to get another one to understand these videos and to make use of my watch.
Thank you so much
Music controls for running? Can’t seem to add music to data screen???? Pls help
First tip for using the Forerunner 265: learn how to adjust it correctly. That wrist, man... 😖 0:27
Oke mister
I think it should be taken Grid Ref. It doesn’t matter either it will good works forerunner 265 😢
Dude in these videos always had watch on way too tight 🤣
It just looks that way because of the hairs on his arm
First time Garmin user...this video is horrible, I want to be able to start a workout and listen to music to begin. You cut the video where you went from the control menu to the place it said run.. this is horrible so far
I agree. The manual is 122 pages yet the video tutorials only cover the basics.
My watch came in the box without a manual at all! I did a spin bike workout, couldn’t figure out how to end the workout- just stop it- and trying to get out of it I somehow canceled the workout 🙄 why is that even an option
I agree. Just want to start running and listen music.
The manual can only be downloaded.

Oke
Thank you
You have to hook it to a computer to connect maps and update? That’s what they told me on the phone. Can’t even download music until i do that. Guess what it doesn’t come with? A way to do that!
Fix all bugs from 955 and then launch the 955amoled and solve battery darin issue.. happy to buy 975! (965 isnt something new)
Find this very difficult to follow and way too fast. Im no tech geek, and it is not user friendly at all. Feel like an android user trying to get my head around IOS.
Is it in purpose that the watch is attached to the guy’s arm in a quite…unhealthy way? It seems to me it is cutting the whole blood flow…
I'm guessing just to secure it for the video...keep it from moving during the presentation? Or maybe he likes it like that😂
My 255 and thousands of others with various models can't synch their watches for 3 freaking weeks since the last app update. Buy something else!
say no to amoled
why?
@@TanyaOwens battery life
I agree , very sorry. It is horrible. He keep pressing buttons BUT I CANNOT TELL which one he is pressing as he is using both fingers on available buttons. ARGHHHH
Hi Garmin, I think I know why my battery is draining so fast. I notice this for the 2nd time since 2 months ago where it happened at 1st. And it always happen when the battery is fully charged 100% and during midnight when I am not wearing my watch. How can the battery capacity drop from 100% to 25% within 12am to 5am (5 hrs) . The only explanation is Garmin is remotely accessing or trying to secretly update FW on my watch. Even with WiFi and connect my phone feature disabled. BTW software auto update was disable also. So that could be the ONLY reason why when you power up the watch for the 1st time when you bought the watch it will prompt user to connect to WIFI and key in WiFi address and PW. Please don’t do this behind the background. At least please prompt a message on the screen to inform user that there are critical updates, just imagine the frustration you charge the watch to 100% at night and when you wake up the next day for exercise your watch is low in battery 25%. You sneaky fella.
This is a dreadful video. He should start off by identifying each button individually. He never specifically says which button is the start-stop button, the up-down button, etc. To make matters worse, whenever he presses a button, he puts two fingers on the watch. The action happens so quickly that I can't tell which finger is touching a button and which is simply holding the watch. This is especially bad because some of the buttons are diagonally across from each other and so in fact he's pressing on both buttons at the same time. He should either do it more slowly or with only one finger.
